Does anyone own the 2000 retro jersey? If so is the sizing much different to the jerseys they make these days? For example if I’m an XL in a 2020 jersey would I be the same size in the retro?

Thanks for the replies

One person who will appreciate Saturday night at Campbelltown Sports Stadium like no other, is Tallyn Da Silva.

The 18-year-old hooker will make his NRL debut off the bench against Melbourne Storm, as Wests Tigers celebrate Junior League Appreciate Round.
Da Silva has rapidly progressed through Wests Tigers pathways teams after beginning his rugby league journey with junior club East Campbelltown Eagles.

He is one of four players in the extended squad named on Tuesday representing the Macarthur region, including David Nofoaluma (Campbelltown Collegians and Campbelltown Warriors), Justin Matamua (Campbelltown City Kangaroos) and Brandon Webster-Mansfield (Campbelltown Collegians).

The other Wests Tigers local junior in the side to face the Storm, representing Balmain District Junior Rugby League, is Alex Seyfarth (Dundas Shamrocks).

There are several other local juniors in our NRL top-30 squad including Luke Brooks (Holy Cross Rhinos and Leichhardt Wanderers), Adam Doueihi (Strathfield Raiders and Dundas Shamrocks), Brandon Tumeth (Concord-Burwood Wolves), and Rua Ngatikaura (Campbelltown City), while the bulk of our inaugural NRLW squad is also drawn from local junior clubs.

Our club has continued to increase resources in grassroots development
this season with the introduction of the highly successful ‘back to the juniors’ program, and ‘half time heroes’.

There will be plenty happening at the ground on Saturday night as part of Wests Tigers Junior League Appreciation Round, as we acknowledge and thank the thousands of players and volunteers for their ongoing contribution to rugby league in our community.

What’s on: Junior League Appreciate Round
- Pre-game NRL League Stars Clinic
- Coin Toss Experience with two local junior league players
- Community Sideline experiences for juniors during warm up
- Volunteers lap of honour during NRL team warm up
- Half-Time Heroes
- SSI Charity partner for RD 16 & 5050 raffle

Losana put on a bit of weight, toso viti sis, plenty time before the season starts...Da Silva, Tallyn, what a stud. Phenomenal effort I can't believe it 🤩

These things really should be given more prominence on here, maybe a thread of their ow rather than buried in some community news/events thread which honestly imo gets skipped by the majority, its like junk mail
