Kul,I couldn't read the link you put up for us,however I'm not all that familiar with the Westconnex project,will it affect us as far as training facilities go and are the WTs still looking for a better stadium and setup for the team to train at…cheers mate...

Westconnex is a large multi-billion dollar infrastructure project, consisting of tunnels under Parramatta Road.
There was/is talk that Concord Oval could be used a staging ground for excavations, however the article and render shows that Concord Oval may remain.

Tunneling for WestConnex under Parramatta Road need portals (if only temporary) for dirt to be brought through, dumped in trucks and sent off to where ever dirt goes.

Concord Oval is/was earmarked as one favoured site for this portal to be built, to act as a staging ground (cement mixing, site office, etc) as it is directly above the intended route and about halfway along the length of tunnel.

If this was to occur, the oval would need to
Be demolished.

This was one of the factors that WT state several times in the past 12 months that a move from Concord might occur. If the oval needs to go, so do the tigers.

But if, as the article above suggests, then so may the tigers. We may not need to move after all.
