Agreed boonboon!! That's why i always hear about league clubs trying to poach schoolboy level union players before they realllly settle into the one code and why players from both codes switch all the time - look at SBW, he only came back a BIGGER and BETTER player after union, and lote too although he was older and hampered by injuries.

Look at the current Wannabies team and tell me who played League and at what level......

Take it back a few years and you have W Palu, B Sheehan, R Elsom…..
Remember the halves pairing of Sheehan and Duncan Mcrae at Souths??? Laughable.... Then they both left league and rep'd NSW and Wannabies.

Amazed that you think Lote came back bigger and better????
Did you see him for the Broncos before he left to go to Union??? Ever see him play for Queensland beforehand?
A statement like that shows you have no idea.
I watched Lote make his debut at Leichardt Oval for the Broncos…... He was out of his depth to say the least and the crowd gave it to him.... But sh.t he came good the next few years...
When Lote returned to league he wasn't a 1/4 the player he was when he left
