Tucker hit the nail on the head, they are not our greatest team, their batting is to unreliable, but they are a team full of hard nosed professionals who on a big stage know how to get the job done.

Last night the bowling attack hardly bowled a bad ball and Captain Pat who has been bowling pies for a few weeks was back to his best. The fielding was unbelievable , Head, Warner, and Lube Change were sensational.

Indians are very good front runners, but if you apply the blow torch they can crumble. We need to start blooding some batsmen

Watched the 1st T20 last night . I think putting these 5 meaningless games in the schedule at this point of time just ridiculous
Anyway game went down to last ball .India win on last ball
Amusing to see Maxxy and Head carrying the drinks
Inglis had his best innings EVER
However Smith got the scratchiest 50 I can remember . Face facts this guy is out of form and his running between the wickets terrible he is full of Yes/ No's .
We batted well but could not score very much off last 2 overs because of good Yorkers
Note we didn't do same to them .
Anyway a pointless game !

I like it, I’m sick of the time wasted between deliveries and overs, moving a fielder 3m finer. And do the batsmen need a new pair of gloves every 2 overs?

Yes Smith seems really out of form .He mistimed 2 out of 3 balls
Agree .He needs to come home and sort this out .At the moment I couldn't pick him in our Test Team but his inherent skill doesn't just vanish so I'm hoping he finds it

One other thing that makes this T20 series meaningless is both umpires being Indian
I thought their wides interpretation very different with our bowlers having 12 wides
But early on Indian bowlers down leg side not called ..They had 4 wides in total .
That's a difference of 8 !!
They won on the last ball . Indian umpires were biased
However as I said with this series " I just don't care "
