Culture Change (Lol)

Time to be serious and stop living delusionally. What has Cleary done to turn this club around? Tightened up the defence? Well he has, but it’s been cancelled out by our nothingness in attack. Tonight was no different to what life has been like under every other coach when our season has been on the line. We folded under Sheens, Potter and Taylor. Now Ivan has joined that illustrious club. Nothing has changed.

No culture change mate. All a myth. Another failure of a season.

Ivan’s been a massive disappointment. I had so much hope when we signed him, I was so confident he was the right choice. I was wrong.

Everything was going beautifully under Potter until our CEO at the time brought in that idiot Brian Smith to assess the Club and it's systems. We need Marty and the doc. A sports almanac wouldn't go astray either

They're a low club, there's no denying this. You could sign Bellamy and every other Storm player and we would still miss the finals.

The sooner they get rid of Dad's army the better.

lol you guys are kidding yourselves if you think any of this is Ivan's fault.

Ivan has done a tremendous job on making us the defensive team we are today. Our attack is ordinary (to say the least), but that's a mixture of it being a new spine and us just not having the cattle. Those are the facts, no matter how painful and pathetic tonight was.

There's no reason to not believe in Ivan, yet.

And Joey was saying before the game Farah and Marshall “must” be re-signed

Was Farah even out there tonight?

Never understood why. And of course Robbie wanting a 4 year contract.

It has been good for the old fellas to see out there careers both need to retire this season ,please no next season.

It was painfully obvious to see what we already know - Brooks is not an organiser. Bring in NC asap please and let Brooks play off the cuff.

Agreed. Ivan has improved our defence considerably. Our attack sucks because we have an average (that’s being generous) squad. You can certainly question some of his signings, but otherwise there’s no doubt Cleary is guiding us in the right direction. Rebuilds take time - from memory, Panthers missed the finals in 2012-13, and then made the prelims in 2014.
Tonight was extremely disappointing, but have faith in the big picture. Cleary is miles ahead of Taylor

Being beaten by teams below us on the ladder is a genuine and seemingly incurable sickness

It seems that way. What I can't understand is that's it's nearly a completely different set of blokes playing for us yet they still suffer from the same sickness!

I said a few weeks ago if we weren’t careful we might get overrun by the Dogs and Parra. While that’s not going to happen, we’ve still been beaten by the Dogs (when everything was on the line mind you) which is just as embarrassing.
