Daine Laurie #237

Happy to have this kid back this week. Shown a couple glimpses this year that's he's about to elevate his game (Parramatta game was awesome) hopefully can string some quality footy together because I think he has star potential.

Had a cracking game against Parra and then got Injured next
Had a cracking game against Parra and then got Injured next game.....
One swallow doesn't make a spring.
He had a good year, in his first year in NRL, last year before getting injured.
Injuries this year have knocked him around too.
Don’t forget the kids only 22.
He’s got plenty of talent and will only get better and grow with the team.

Hey may well have plenty of Talent - He also has plenty of deficiencies....
I still don't have him in the top 12 FB's in the game,
Hopefully he does get better, He's got a ways to go though...

He seems to build his form over a few games, at least that applied last year as well as 2022. Got injured both times when starting to look the part.

Hopefully doesn't ease his way back in as we can't afford it from a first choice #1.

He’s had many outstanding games but the difference between good and bad is high. I’d resign him he’s shown enough with hardly any first grade experience. The kid will only improve and we have to take the risk. We are not in a position to sign. Rep level fullbacks.
