Daniel The Real Deal Geale

Has just won by split decision with all three judges scoring it 116-112\. It's another massive result for him now winning twice in Germany as the under dog which is probably one of the toughest places to fight & get a result if you don't knock them out, with a lot of German boxers never boxing outside Germany. I thought he had won by one round with him dominating the earlier rounds but with Strum finishing the stronger. Well done Champ :righton:

He was just interviewed on 2ky sports sunday just after his fight & all i can say is he just comes across as such a humble person, which in the boxing game is pretty unheard of. They asked him if he would fight Mundine in his next fight as he is the only person who's beat him so far in his 29 fights (by the way i reckon he was robbed & he beat Mundine when they fought) & he said Mundine fights at a different weight now but he would talk with his management & that he has never dodged a fighter.

Yeah great result for Danny. He has worked hard and taken on high quality opponents. He deserves his successes.

Mundine could learn a hell of a lot from this guy but he would rather sit on the sidelines fighting 45 year old 'never was' boxers and projecting his racist thoughts upon the nation. The bloke is a pathetic embarrassment to this country.

Once again well done to Dan, he is a champion we can be proud of.

It has always been a shame the lack of publicity Geale has gotten.

No doubt Mundine will tell us all about how he beat him, but for the love of god Danny don't fight him! Mundine's career is that close to done, no one in the states give to hoots about him and I'd hate to see him given even the smallest chance to resurrect anything of a career he had.

Before Geale won his first title in Germany a year or so back wasn't Mundine actively avoiding a rematch with him? Grub. It's a shame our legit boxers like Geale and Billy Dib get no exposure while jokes like Green and Mundine get heaps.

This is the big break that Geale was looking for. He should be able to attract some big money fights in the US now.

Yeah you would have to say so considering he unified the division with that result. Surprisingly he hasn't got much media attention since the result.

Our media would rather pay more attention to walking headlines like Mundine and Green.

It was meant to be on at 4.15 but they just said there having trouble contacting him but hopefully it will be in the next hour.
