Dear Wests Tigers - time to stand up for fans

Dear Wests Tigers. Every fan is hurting at that result. Not because it affects the season, but because it was wrong. We understand bad calls. We understand we get good calls (sometimes, maybe?) But we won that game at full time only for a referee to err in allowing a challenge when none was possible under the rules of the game. That’s wrong. And we should pursue every legal remedy to say we won’t cop it anymore. This isn’t about setting a bad precedent. It’s about the club respecting itself and it’s fans and saying we deserve better. Start a go fund me and tell me where to send the first $100. Keep it, give it to a charity I don’t mind. But please do the right thing and don’t roll over. In 2005 I remember the sense of injustice Tigers fans felt getting a tiny fraction of the tickets that the Dragons got for the prelim final. And yet that group who did get tickets and gathered in a small pocket to sit behind the posts on that great night knew their team had their back. Let’s show the same fight here.
