Can someone explain to me why this woman has such a huge ego? Besides being married to one of the guys from INXS and having a couple of hits with the Rockmelons in the early '90s, what has she ever done in her entertainment career? She's always turning up on these terrible shows like 20 to 1 and the atrocious "Essentials" series that Max TV are running and spouting her opinion like it's the gospel, which often includes a good deal of criticism. Now I see she's going to be on the Aussie version of "celebrity" Apprentice and from the ads it looks like she'll maintain her sense of self-importance. She is not half the star that her mother was, yet acts like she is.

Exactly what I have been thinking. I can only think it is because she has grown up with a famous mother and it has given her a huge ego. And we all know when you have a huge ego you tend to find yourself in the media. Just look at Kyle Sandilands, what has he ever done? Yet he does morning radio and has been on shows like Big Brother, Australian Idol and the x factor.

Do i listen? you gotta be kidding. There have been times however when i've been unfortunate enough to have to suffer through a car trip to school listening to him and his bimbo co-host ( my mum listens to him) and he's just a total knob who i hate with a passion

The celeb apprentice show looks like it may be OK for some vegetative tv, something to zone out to just before bed

Would anyone realy care about Marcia if it wasn't for Australian Idol? before that show she was performing at Rooty Hill RSL. Australian Idol did a great job at resurrecting the career's of two has-beens e.g Marcia Hines and Mark Holden, who without that show, no one would even care about or remember

haha my Dad is alwayz complaining to me about TK. Haven't listened to him in a long time, but apparently he's turned into a giant know-it-all. I do remember how shocking of a tipster he was though, and from what i've heard nothing has changed

Richard Freedman was the one who I couldn't stand. He WAS a know-it-all who had an ego the size of the Harbour Bridge. Was funny how he left the BSB for a job in the AJC for about half a mil a yr, lasted 12 months, and now he's back working as a presenter on Sky Channel :laughing:

Agree. Talent? What asking rape victims about their sex history? Making jokes about concentration camps? Tricking someone into thinking that because they answered a question wrong they wouldn't be able to see their relative and letting them breakdown just for ratings? Constantly abusing your position to stymie criticism or to support your untalented wife's singing career? Being a lardo with no obvious talents and ability but feeling in a position to be a judge on talent shows?

If that's what passes for talent we're all in trouble… The guy is one of the biggest oxygen thieves going around.

If this CA is anything like the American one it'll be good for a few lols (although it won't come close). A group of past it "celebrities" who are looking to keep themselves relevant or grow their own profile, oh and raise some money for their charities.
