My question is; why does it matter? Who gives a rats?
I really liked seeing Simona in the WT side and I valued him as a player. He stuffed up big time. I don't need to ponder how he will go in life from now on because I don't care. I care about what happened to Tiuaki and Dwyer and how they're going. Simona made his bed and he can lie in it.

The difference is that Packer seems to have proven that he's turned it around. I'll admit I'm still not completely comfortable with him being here but he seems as though he has turned the corner.

When Simona actually proves that he's made a change I'm sure most people will come around. It's still fresh, he still has court hearings, he threw team mates under the bus in regard to drug use in his tell all with Rothfilth. IMO he has yet to take responsibility for his actions. When he has proven he's done that many people will go easier on them.

Most rational people would see what he's doing in this article as the first steps in "turning it around"
He's stated he wants to pay back the charities… Getting a job would be a step in that direction yet the pitchfork wavers reckon it's all a front for the beak in court

Depends how big your client base is. I know some PTS who can make $2k a week working about 28 hours.

Depends who your client base is as well. If they are likely to fall off the wagon and not follow your instructions they'll blame you for it and just stop going altogether.

If someone has a history of drug use, organised crime connections and fraud, I've gotta admit I'm not confident they're turning it around in the fitness industry. Not every bodybuilder or PT I've met is dodgey of course, but it's not exactly a barrier to employment either. Depends on the gym, but if they're employing Tim Simona that's a red flag straight away.

Russel Packer I have some concerns about. He broke a bloke's face after he was on the ground. That's low, and that's why he went to prison when most blokes on assault charges get a fine and a bond.

Cleary knew Packer as a younger player and has sincerely vouched that he's got his issues sorted. I hope Coach has this one right. We don't need another Matt Lodge.
