Do you have any interests outside of our boundaries?
Follow any overseas sporting organisations maybe?
I see people talk about world soccer like it is the only thing that matters....
Theres nothing wrong with taking interest in foreign politics. Some of them - such as the American circus are fascinating and as we tend to follow their lead socially, its good practise to understand whats coming down the line.

The trouble with that is this thread's topic, , who is a convicted Rapist and Felon, is not only a self confessed sexual predator, he is also a jury found one, just as he is a convicted felon that revels in the political gutter.

One cannot get any lower than in the shadow of a tragic air accident, specifically complain about severely disabled employment policies in a press conference and blame other administrations for something that directly occurred under his, as shown below.

Agreed. 24 hour news cycle is the death of news. As is modern incentives for engagement.

The best legacy news channels can contribute imo is bulletin style news, your classic 5 min round up which just reports what is going on in the world and at home, even that can be taken for what it is, surface level with some inherent bias. When the editorialising happens, or the talking heads come on I switch off or listen knowing what I am listening to. Newspapers the same.

There is a place for proper, deep dive investigative journalism still, across the political spectrum. Just doesnt seem to be much quality these days.

Better off getting information from a range of sources (books, deep dive investigations, expert podcasts etc.) to colour in what is reported.

When did I call a , who is a convicted Rapist and Felon a sex offender? I said Bill O’Reilly was liable for sexual assault, never said anything about , who is a convicted Rapist and Felon. Is that what you consider pulling threads apart, getting your wires crossed?
