We’ve never shown any grit. You can get by and go a long way if you play with heart. A few teams over the last couple years have really over achieved by having that trait. We don‘t have it in us. That was taught to me in under 6’s and we cannot do it, that said we don’t have too when we have five 1 man hit ups and kick a bomb into a gale force breeze.

Waited 5 months for the footy to start and now regretting it already. I’m to invested in this team and was looking forward to having the team put in better efforts than last year to be proud of them.

Well we don‘t have a 9. I so badly want to see something in Simpkin, but it’s just not there so far. Still only a baby, but its not helping us atm. And it’s definitely not a given that he’s the one to play second fiddle to Api next year.

He is miles away. JL is definitely better, but the injuries are a concern. Neither can kick and opposition don’t see them as threat.

Simpkin is another that looks to be playing injured. The jury is very much out on him, not showing what I expect from a future gun.
