We have just named a big big bench to play the dragons… I would love to see us steam role them.

Wasn't Michael Witt a Parramatta reject quite a few years ago ? I think the Dragons are in for a long year.
If we can't beat this side then we should be favourites for the wooden spoon

Witt's not a bad player. He is more dangerous than Soward was last year. I can see him and Widdop working well together, although neither has an exceptional kicking game.

This is an ordinary side but one that in the past we always seem to lose to.

Dragons will finish in the bottom 3 but I can see us losing this game if we are not on.

Witt was with the Dogs a few years back. Was in their NSW Cup winning team in 2011 I think. Was let go after some minor indiscretion the following year then was in the 'wilderness' before the Stealers picked him up…?

Seen him play at fullback - very quick back then. Not sure about now.

Drags will struggle this year.

Our props will roll the likes of De Belin and Hunt, neither of whom I rate and comparing our bench to theirs I would be very worried if I was a Dragons fan...

Think you have the wrong guy PL. Witt played for Eels, Manly and Warriors before heading to ESL. I dont recall him playing for the Dogs or at fullback.

He had a slow start to first grade but started to develop at Manly and Warriors. In the N Fien mould.

Oh-my-gosh… yes I got them mixed up alright southertiger (senior moment on my part).

Witty was over here with the Warriors, from Parra originally and a stint at Manly in between.

Decent centres and wingers, backrow looks pretty solid too but overall we should have them covered. I don't think Widdop will look as good without Cronk etc around him.

I agree, without the other stars around him like Cronk and Smith Widdop wont find it as easy.
