Eels Vs Doggies contains SPOILERS

Loathe him please.

I'll talk Slimy Fart down for as long as I can, and history has shown that Moses comes down from good form before too long.

They were **talking in the paper today about how Bumper Farrell has worked with Moses in a padded room to improve his contact in defence. I dunno what kind of kink floats their boat**, but it's fairly evident if Moses ever overcomes his reputation for missed tackles, he defended like a lowlife dog in early 2017 to ferret his way out of a contract.

Yes he ferreted like a dog, I'm keeping that.

Good for you - keep at it and he is playing well at the moment regardless.

Were you on the funny stuff when you wrote that, or was it an attempt at humour?
Bumper has been dead for over 30 years .. a nicer (and tougher) man would be hard to meet.

When Moses puts in performances like that against tougher opposition, then I'll believe he's actually becoming a top player. No doubt he's a good player but the way the media are carrying on at the moment is ridiculous, they put him on a pedestal any opportunity they get, like they have scripts ready to fire off as soon as he does anything remotely competent.

Last night was about his best game all season - his combination with Norman is obviously improving and the whole team seems to be backing him 100% (kick chases etc.) Used the wet weather to his advantage and the Dogs were just horrible.. Oh on that note, lol at Woodsy!

lets see how he goes in the fullness of time.

He may become a rep player and we may regret not having on the park, but he may yet end up playing like he did for us towards the end.

Im not sure he is a rep player with his defence and I'm not sure that his attack is a world beater on his own. Its easy to look good when you are playing the bulldogs who are down on their luck at the moment.

Dont like him for the way he behaved earlier this year but when your team is winning games no one outside of us WT's fans are going to hate on him.

Moses is a dud
Fullstop

Even the rain during the game tonight could not put out his fire cracker - he appeared the smartest guy on the field.

He was playing a dogs team in the wet that are unhappier than our mob at the moment. Our current crop could smash them by 50 - I'd be practically begging to play against the Dogs right now.

Totally agree with the 3 or 4 previous posts, Moses looked okay I last night against the team with the worst form in the NRL right now who truthfully deserve to be the wooden spooners this year…...Jack Littlejohn would of looked like Wally Lewis playing against the insipid, pitiful Bulldogs last night. Cannot believe how soft and spiritless the Dogs were. Lil Mitchy looked all fancy with his poncy ballerina finishes after kicking the footy (does he still wear his leg-warmers does anyone know?) against an embarrassing pack of forwards who put no pressure on him whatsoever. Time is nearly upon us when he is gonna have to face some ferocious packs who will be frothing at the prospect of ripping his undernourished scrawny body limb from limb like a Sunday roast chicken, who will smash him every single time he is in the vicinity of the ball. Then we will see what the real Mitchy is made of, his head will be slamming off the turf with glorious monotony. Don't be scared lil fella!
Mitch is like a cheap knock-off necklace....looks beautiful and glistening in the sunlight but looks like crap and starts flaking once it gets knocked around a bit. Gee whiz the media have certainly got wood over the precious fairy at the moment though, will watch with glee when it all turns sour on him.

Brett not Frank, although it's Brett O'Farrell and I made a typo. Brett also goes by "Bumper", he's a wrestling and defensive coach, played a few seasons with the Storm.

Three questions.

Is he more talented than Brooks athletically and as a footballer? Yes

Is he playing better than Brooks? Yes

Has Brooks ever looked the better of the two at NRL level? No

Anyone else beg to differ?

Three answers:

Yet to be determined

With a better set of forwards at the moment - yes

Brooks looked sensational in his game against St. George - so the answer is yes

Guess I differ but I am not begging TIGER.

Yes, at this stage Moses seems the better player.
But that is not to say that things can't change. Brooks will gain confidence as he leads the team around this year and a few wins will significantly improve his confidence. Next year behind a forward pack who will give him time and space, he will shine. He also has the whole off-season to work with Hodgo and Cleary who I am sure will impart a world of knowledge onto Luke who will reap benefits.

People have been saying for ages that Brooks will eventually come good and he is a superstar. I believe this is true but you can't judge him now when he is in a team like this. Judge him next year, if he is not up to NRL standard than we are fighting a losing battle.

At this stage, Moses looks the better player but what he did to us is disgraceful and I am 100% sure we did the right thing. Moses is a grub and doesn't deserve to wear our proud jersey.

At least Brooks gives his all for our team and has a dig in defense. He doesn't seem to lose his bundle in the same way that Moses does.

At this stage Moses, but I am confident Brooks will come good.

Moses is better than Brooks at the moment but Moses is scum. I'm stoked he is gone and the sooner the other 2 go the better.

The amazing comparison is that Luke has about double the number of tries hanging off his belt than Mitch for about the same amount of FG games.

Moses has always been the better of the two, anyone with only a little bit of knowledge of the game can see that. And for those denigrating his performance last night because 'it was only against Canterbury' - they did thrash the Broncos only a week before and last I looked, they were a top 4 side before Parramatta leap frogged them last night.

Report

Touches
Norman: 35
Moses: 35

Line breaks
Norman: 0
Moses: 1

Try Assists
Norman: 0
Moses: 2 (and they were top notch)

Tackles (misses)
Norman: 5 (2)
Moses: 13 (0)

Forced Drop outs.
Norman: 3
Moses: 5

Kicks (Kick Metres)
Norman: 8 (205)
Moses: 16 (366)

Who could believe that Moses did not miss any tackles - no more Turnstile

The Bulldogs threw nothing at him BBF, hence the zero missed tackles. The turnstile is still very much in effect though….it will be at it's peak in a months time against the NRL's elite. The deer in the headlights is nearly ready for its grand appearance on the big stage.

When Moses was running sideways across the field holding the ball out in front, WHY didn't one of those forwards smash he? Instead they all just looked at him making a fool of them.

It's like saying "he's the smartest kids on the retard bus"

Listen mate, the retard bus came to the chess centre about 40 years ago, there was a big comp on that I wasn't in so agreed to play them. Well my opponent was in a wheelchair, could not talk , walk or lift a hand, could only grunt and move pieces with a tool in his mouth. (they have remote beams on their forehead these days). I thought this guy would be hopeless so took it easy on him - well he done me like a kebab dinner.

So later when becoming a teacher I always warned never to underestimate your opponent no matter who, what where. AND DON'T KNOCK THE RETARDS.
