WTF Head2Head Season 2022/2023

Game-weeks 2 and 3 are now in the bin for the year!

These weeks pass so quickly and remember, the transfer period is ongoing, so teams are still adding to their rosters, filling gaps, trying to find their best combinations etc.

(As we are too in our Fantasy Comps!)

Game-week 2 saw the season’s first draw, between Laroche and edmund’s Eagles, 73 all. WOW!

In other games (all pretty close):

ABCDE FC beat Rags to FPL Riches 73 – 69

Haven't Jota Clue beat Fibro’s 61 – 47

Hairy Kewell beat Bon Vivant 76 – 71

Jacob’s beat Delta Blues 84 – 69



Moving onto Game-week 3:


Bon Vivant beat ABCDE FC 61 – 47

Fibro’s beat Delta Blues 44 – 42 in a tight result

Edmund’s Eagles beat Jacob;s 53 – 38

Rags to Riches FPL beat Hairy Kewell 47 – 34

Laroche beat Haven't Jota Clue 56 – 39.

So, as things stand the Comp Ladder looks like this after 3 rounds:

ABCDE FC in equal top spot with Bon Vivant, Haven’t Jota Clue, Fibro’s and Rags to Riches FPL – each with 6 points

Then comes edmund’s Eagles and Laroche with 4 points

Followed by Jacob’s and Hairy Kewell on 3 points

And

Delto Blues bringing up the rear on 0 points at this stage.

Game-week 4 is now gone, and the next game-weeks almost fall over themselves, so close are the games and plus other comps as well each overlapping etc.

Anyways, here’s the latest:

Rags to Riches FPL beat Haven’t Jota Clue 64 – 61 in a close result

edmund’s Eagles beat Hairy Kewell 70 – 54.

Jacob’s beat Fibro’s big time 78 – 32

Delta Blues beat Bon Vivant 74 – 60.

Which leads to the ladder looking like this:

ABCDE FC on equal top spot with Rags to Riches FPL on 9 points;

edmund’s Eagles ouitright 3rd with 7;

Bon Vivant, Haven’t Jota Clue, Jacob’s and Fibro’s next on 6 points each;

Laroche on 4;

And Delta Blues and Hairy Kewell trailing at this early stage with 4

This news follows the death of Queen Elizabeth:

This weekend's match round to be postponed as a mark of respect for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II​

Therefore, there will be no need to fix our Fantasy Comp teams just yet.

Fixtures to resume this weekend after pause as mark of respect following passing of Queen Elizabeth II​

But there are 3 matches postponed still, to allow for events surrounding the Queen's funeral.

Chelsea v Liverpool, and Manchester United v Leeds have been called off.
Brighton against Crystal Palace had already been called off because of rail strikes and remains postponed.
