Should have been organised.

It is semi finals people and we have not been in the semi's for some time of course it was going to sell out quickly.

It get under my skin we fans whinge about missing out…........what proactive steps did they take to secure their ticket.

The answer is none so they rush around asking every one if they have a spare ticket.

I say you should have been more organised! :brick:

come on brother - most people here in Sydney weren't expecting a friday night in Canberra until Kenny-Dowall took the intercept 16 minutes into extra time on saturday night! Even then they had to wait until 5.30pm sunday for confirmation - and then had to secure time off work or study on the day that members' tickets went on sale!

I still cannot understand how Campese as an individual got 109 tickets on monday morning - unless he was able to quote 11 member numbers.

I will be there in the unticketed Presidents' Room as my mate - Canberra chairman JR McIntyre - invited me to be the barbarian in their midst - but I still needed to organise leave from duties - and to crash overnight with a mate!

You are more than half-way there and want to hang people for even wanting to travel down but missing the ticketing boat!

Ray Hadley said this morning that each year Campese buys 40 membership packages for his family & that's how he was able to secure 109 tickets.

fair enough then

Alien,You are correct.

Becoming a member is the right thing to do.

It is the difference between the people who have a ticket to the people who do not.

Good on him! I was unaware - I trust that is not the case with all of their players or that would account for pretty much the club's entire membership.

JR as chairman runs a good/tight ship down there - and I actually socially met with him the day after they sacked Carney, the day they demoted Josh Dugan after training no-shows, three weeks after they lost Zillman to the Gold Coast - and two weeks after they signed Bronson - and on my experiences I personally srate him as the best rugby league administrator remaining in the game!

I hated Canberra from 1989 - but I can't be too feral as I still highly rate and like JR & Bronson as individuals!

PS - Frazer - I understood your call for memberships (I have been a continual ticketed-member since inception despite living-working interstate during much of that period) - but please don't demand people to be more organised at such short notice.
