Just wondering if there was an olympics style final, somewhat planned on grand Final day, who your top 9 would be?

Mine I think:
1 Dom Young
2 Jason Saab
3 Fidou Hammer
4 Jojo fifita
5 Khan Pereira
6 Addo carr (questionable)
7 Jacob Kiraz
8 Koula
9 Xavier Savage

bonus: Matt Ashton for England representation*

The podium in my estimation wuld be:
Gold: Saab
Silver: dom Young
bronze: Hammertime

Ahh, the good old days of GF day halftime sprints.
This would be a great offseason thread.
Then you got ya “All Time” list?
Hey isn’t Dom Young a Pom?
👍🏻👍🏻 too by the way.

Kaeo Weekes goes alright they reckon
Like to see Ryan Papz in the mix also.

List is solid tho.
Saab takes it, imo. 🥇

Who would be the quickest Tiger?

Forbes Ferrari? Bula? Maybe Large?.

Don’t think we have one I the top ten unfortunately.

Brooks was the fastest Tiger, but he was wasted for years at halfback. Now it would probably be Bula or Staines.

The OP's list looks pretty credible to me.

Yah I reckon ours would be Bula.

Would be interesting to see how he'd go against those speedsters.
Bula I reckon would be last out of the blocks, but come home over the 100 - 200m, doesn’t look that quick over the first 30. I reckon Staines has the acceleration and short distance covered in our team. You don’t get nicknamed a Ferrari for nothing.

These aren't players but; Video ref and on field officials, they are so quick to find problems with wests tiger players, and some of the tries that are scored...:rolleyes::sneaky:

Papz has lost a lot of pace , throw injury , clear winner Saab , dark horse that new kid at the knights , sharpe
Hammer hard to beat btw...way he ran down JAC was impressive.JAC no longer anything close to the benchmark
Young is powerful..but quick...dunno
Saab no slowcoach but never seen him do what Hammer did

Are we talking 100 metre dash ? Addo Carr won’t run coz he knows he couldn’t win ( not good for the image), I rate the underdog Savage quite highly and even though Saab looks like a sprinter think he might fold.

Is Young that fast?
I read saab drives at 37km/hr top speed, thats ridiculously quick.
I actually think Young is quite fast. Roosters seem to have some tries scored off intercepts and even though Young hasn't been able to make a massive try saving tackle, the speed at which he moves across always surprises me.

Hammer got to 36.9 against JAC last week I think.

Reckon Saab has them all covered
All good discussion. Once upon a time the players sprint was a regular feature at half time in big games( mainly at the SCG). Each club supplied a player and there was quite often a Smokey from the lower grades who would come out and win.
There was also the unique and memorable match race between Ken Irvine/ Norths and Manly and a racehorse( at Kembla Grange from memory).
For those young uns, he owns the most tries scored in first grade record that Alex Johnston is closing in on.
