The impact this guy offers is immense his mongrel and work rate for his size is massive .
He would be in my team for Origin 1 , i still can't believe how Sheenious let this player go ( yeah i know he had a bad attitude ) but never any demeanours . 1 player i wish we still had
Imagine what we could of had at the Tigers 8\. Fifita 9\. Farrah 10\. Woods that is basically Blues Origin front Row for me (pretty much).
Watch him Palm of our Youngsters back to Leichardt on Friday night
Thoughts?????

Nah, some other guy

Fifita was let go to keep woods at the club.. Blair was a desperate case and wasn't involved in the loss of Fifita… Though keeping woods and Fifita (after somehow shaking him up a bit, like what happened when we got rid of him) would be good!

We chose a few of guys ahead of Fifita. One returned to the country to start a business and the other has been injured but will be a bonus when he comes back.

I understand we also chose team harmony.

I don't get the talk of Fifita for origin. I watch every Sharks game as a I have friends who love them. Fifita is still a soft track bully. He would get owned in origin.

Fafita was a lazy fat slob when we sacked him. The right choice was made at the time…some players kick on and he has proven to be one of them....good luck to him.

But he had an x-factor. With the right tools we could have gotten the best out of him

I agree , i think he now has a coach who believes in him , that is the difference

Before the start of the year I would have said this is crazy talk but I must admit he's been pretty good this season. I still don't think he has the minutes or impact to play origin at the moment. If he went crossfield for NSW he'd get cleaned up pretty easily.

He hasn't run crossfield since he was wearing a Tigers jersey. Something else the Sharks managed to fix that we couldn't

He ran cross field plenty of times for Sharks, he even spoke of it recently and said Gallen set him straight.

No need to rewrite history.

Daley has already stated Grant, Tamou & Merrin are already locked in… There is only 1 Prop spot possibly up for grabs and I think it's pretty clear he will be at Fridays game to make his decision of playing 3/4 Props for Game 1.

So you would prefer to give this KFC Sponsored lump a start in Origin at the exspence of Woods?

One of the highlights of this weeks game should be Woods v Fifita should be worth the price of admission alone.

If it comes down to him vs. Woods for the spot, he should play ahead of Woods. He is a mongrel. But I would pick Woods over Grant. Woods is a starting front rower. The front row rotation should be Woods/Merrin > Fifita/Tamou as impact.

Fifita and his coach said he'd be this good before the season started. Truth bombs.

Ahh yes the mythical Origin fraud known as Mongrel.

You pick the best players. Shillo, Scott, Hannant and Petro were not picked for mongrel. They were picked because they were the best for the job and had proved it season after season.

Which says more about our club than the player concerned.

he dont look like a 'lazy fat slob' now
