In this thread, lets discuss any physical altercations we have had in the past.
Hopefully some good reads + discussion.

I'm a lover not a fighter.
Love the stories though, been about 4 years since I've been involved in any hand to hand violence.

I'll share some stories later, lets go.

Hahaha I like your threads Dempsy….

Havent had one since the semi loss to the Warriors last year. This meathead maori was giving everyone crap around him and after 20 minutes of watching him abuse every Tiger fan that walked past him I told him to shut up and enjoy his win. He immediately came at me and I slammed him as hard as I could...broke my hand but got him a goodun.

I must admit I used to love fighting but its getting pretty dangerous these days. Young blokes do not respect the rules. They attack in groups like cowards. They do come off the fist nicely though....lol.

This isn't the last fight I was involved in but its a funny story

Played a schoolboy rep game many ,many years ago and went into make a tackle Three involved the tackle and as we were falling to the ground felt something smash into my chin

Assuming the huge bugger had purposely dropped his knee into my chin i got up and belted this guy One of the best punches I ever threw and he barely blinks and belts the tripe out of Happy

We both get sent off and I trying to act tough mouth off and we have a verbal all the way back to the dressing rooms (over 100 metres away) Happy was quicker on the feet and the lip and I say I won the war of words

Anyway half time comes and the centre on my side is acting sheepishly and everyone is looking at the hole in my chin and the quickly closing eye and he comes over and says " Sorry mate" I told him not to worry . He says "No sorry that was me that split your chin"

hahahaha….ooops!

I have a mate who fights like Homer Simpson in the way that you just cant put the buggers lights out. He has no talent but possess a big ticker and more importantly a concrete jaw. I once saw him win a scrap without ever really getting into it by virtue of the other fella being scared off because he pummelled him a few times a didnt leave a dent. Old Ronnie is too stupid to know when he is beat and just keeps coming back for more. If you counted punches landed it would have been the other fella 20, Ron 1....however that 1 was the last and as the bloke took off straight away, the drunken crowd declared Ron the winner. We then had to put up with him re-telling the story for years.
"were you there that night I took on that kiwi bloke?"
"....yes mate you were very good....."

Good call demps. To tonight I had the absolute eff punched out of me sticking up for a mate. One bloke went after him leaving a party and I got smashed by two blokes trying to stop them smashing my mate.
Let me say physical altercations are dumb. They don't prove anything.
Aaron Woods could probably belt Lockyer to a pulp but Lockyer would still be a better footballer.
This thread is dumb as long as it promotes physical violence. Let's be men here and walk away.

Have to agree with Fraze. Having grown up around domestic violence i've pretty much devolped an intense hatred for it. The only thing worse is guys who brag about it

domestic stuff is a different kettle of fish mate. I grew up around it as well. Thats not what I expect Demps is on about though….

Stryker, Demps, no disrespect but fights are dumb. Someone always comes off second best.
Me personally I weigh 70kg if that and I'm 20 years old. Tonight I stood between my mate and a bloke with my hands up saying no ones going to fight you. Ive just gotten home from hospital with a lump on my temple a fat lip and a lump on the back of my head. If you can explain to me the glory in doing that to someone, or the sense of self esteem you would gain inflicting that pain onto someone then I'm all ears.
Yeah some people deserve it, but coming off the end of an arse kicking and not being a violent person or someone who goes out looking for a blue I think this thread is childish and undeserving of the attention it will draw. If you like to fight then good on you. Keep it to yourself instead of being a hero and spruiking it on the Internet. There's enough violence in our society without us promoting it.

Yes fellas, there is no denying fights are stupid.
The young trouble makers who get a kick out of it will no doubt grow up and feel the same way some day.
That being said, some time it is unavoidable and when we're young we do stupid things.

Not @ all trying to promote violence or brag about anything, just share some stories about previous knuckle ups we may have been in.
Like I said, it's been a long time for me and hopefully won't re-occur any time soon because I'm such a likeable nice guy.

Keep the stories coming.

Fraze what happened to you yesterday was terrible. Unfortunately though thats life. I have never instigated a blue and have also been on the end of some world class touchups as a young guy including a broken eye socket 5 years ago.

Having said that i am also not the type to walk away when someone is trying to bully or standover me. You hate fighting and thats great, some of us enjoy snotting an a-hole…each to their own. Its always been a part of my nature and life. Appologise for upsetting you.

Hahaha there is some good ones on here.

I had a mate from high school, who was a bit of keen boxer and muay Thai fighter.

We were in about year 10 and some idiot in the year above decided he'd be a smartass and throw a lemon full pelt at my friend, and it clocked him straight in the face.

He stumbled around for a second got his head together then pointed at him, chased him down and clocked him with the best right hander I've ever seen.

Then while the bloke was hunched over he tackled him and squirted the entire lemon in his eye.
