Finals Series - Disappointing

As a spectacle, I agree. The games haven't been close, which is a shame.

I disagree that it's been disappointing though. Some of the performances by teams have been incredible.

Melbourne have performed frighteningly well. Both their games are pretty much rugby league perfection: low errors count, high possession, incredible kicking game, bullying their opposition out of field position and high intensity for the 80 minutes. Their performance against Souths is the single best performance I've ever seen. Clinical is an understatement.

The Dogs as well last night were amazing. The first 2 minutes alone took my breath away. Smart, attacking football, it was a joy to watch.

Dont really know, havent watched more than 20 mins

I m dying that the mutts are in the GF

could it be that we are just so disappointed/annoyed at how wests-tigers ended the season in a whimper, and the on going end of season saga, that nothing else in footy at the moment seems good enough ?

Reynolds' injury destroyed Souths. There was no coming back from that.

Definitely, I think that game would've been a lot closer if Reynolds didn't get injured. Souths were right on top with him leading the way when he went down. With no halfback, they started to play like WT - with no idea or structure - funny that.

Devastated the Bulldogs made it though. I'm not a big fan of Melbourne either, but I hope they destroy the Dogs.

I honestly love watching footy, but both these games put me to sleep….

Looking forward for the U20s final next week though.

Dogs / Melbourne will be a cracker…neither side is a pretender who has fluked their spot as has happened in recent years.

I'm on the Melbourneites.

Greg Eastwood has really stepped it up Has he signed with someone yet

Read somewhere he was unsigned for 2013 as yet

Only 25 lets grab him

Hasler is trying his best to keep Eastwood as he likes the way he plays.

I think last night was his first full game of the year. He seemed like a completely different player from the blob we have seen over the past few years.

I read somewhere that after going to SL - he desperately wanted to come back to Australia and play for the bulldogs.
He signed on a small deal, far less than any previous deal - just because he wanted to play for the dogs so bad.

Do the dogs have much cap space left to throw at him?
Dare way he wouldn't go back to ESL after not enjoying it the first time.

… Good player, would be a good pick up for any one that gets him next year.
