Reading the CEO update for the month and he reports the club has made it’s first profit since inception. This is an improvement of $2.7 million from the previous year.
Imo this has been a stunning turnaround and all must be congratulated , make no mistake our club is in good hands and is here for the long haul!

I think the CEO and board are doing a top job.
Congrats.

Amazing job done by our current management

I agree and I hope those that were death riding the Chair when she was first appointed give themselves an uppercut.

I didn’t want to say it…

Still - HUGE turn around. The club is in wonderful shape off the field.

I believe this result also excludes the foundation revenue (not certain). I believe it took in well over $1m, with pledges for future years as well.

We will be doing well to hold onto Pascoe

Excellent result and I can only see it improving further in 2019 - membership numbers seem to be improving, sponsorship is going well and being able to entice the likes of Maguire who has worked with two of the biggest clubs going around…the brand is attractive and strong.

I emailed Pascoe a month or so ago asking his long term plans. He assured me it was Tigers for the long haul. Maybe CEO’s are true to their word!

What does Marina Go do again…?

Whatever the NRL tells her to do.
She was appointed by them for them.

What do they tell her to do..?

Whatever they want her to do.

You know Mrs Go was re-appointed by Wests when they took control in 2017 and the board restructured right..

Hope they want her to make sure Wests Tigers are financially stable and make a profit..

I think its a big wrap for the club.

You look at clubs like Manly and Cronulla and they seem to be in turmoil.

Slowly if we can improve the roster the wheel could turn quickly.

We are building some foundations. Just hope Pascoe is here for another 5-10 years.

Very positive news as far as i am concerned. We need to get away from the "pokie palace" mentality and be viable in our own right, if we can achieve that then it will be next to impossible for us to be culled or transplanted.
As others have said small steps but going in the right direction. For the first time in our history i have belief in the people running the club.

The NRL told Go to make WestsTigers profitable.
