Footy Show

The little medley that Beau & Benji did at the start of the show was probably the worst bit of TV i've ever seen
Can't believe i put myself through that

If I wanted to watch the mentally handicapped on TV I would watch Life Goes On re-runs. At least Corky was portrayed with dignity. Unlike the hapless bunch of bed wetters on TFS

Not even the hottest band in the world could make me sit and watch that pile of dog crap AHX

I'll have the real thing tomorrow night :righton:

that show is the pits! in saying that i haven't watched it for years. i stopped watching when the show was about cross dressers who some times talk about the footy

Ah Life Goes On! At least the actor who played Corky did have Downs Syndrome. The portrayal of a cerebral palsy sufferer on Packed to the Rafters is a disgrace…

has to now be one of the worst shows on TV..Sterling saw the writing on the wall years ago and wanted nothing to do with it!…Beau knows hardly pulled a laugh....same ole same ole

What the hell happened to my post? Mods can check what I actually wrote which was the medical term for the disease he had not slang or an insulting term. Kind of makes me look bad…

I've been a fan of the show since about 1999, but even I think it has basically had it. Last night was an effort for me to watch it and I fell asleep.

The only good thing about the Footy Show is the bird Willow mentioned that he saw during the Parra trial

The hot blonde who does the late mail for the games

Brain fade on her name

Erin Molan I believe.

That said Fox is better and so is Lara Pitt

Erin Molan doesn't do much for me at all.
Just sayin

I'm with you mate and she seems to have the voice/personality of a concrete wall.

I also find it ironic that there's a panel of current and ex football players yet when they decide to talk some footy they need to bring someone who has never played the game in.

She seems to know her stuff. I didn't realise that you needed to have played the game to be able to talk about it. That would probably negate half the people on this forum and Footy Show host, Michael Slater as well lol.

Hey, please don't take this the wrong way, but I liked it last night. A bit flat in places and very Hey Hey It's Saturday feel about it. The start was meant to be a little fun and I enjoy seeing the boys have a little fun. But I think this will be the last year. It is like Hey Hey, watch it for the sake of watching, waiting for the two punch lines that make the night. Need some thing new

Totally agree. She certainly doesn't seem like window dressing to me. She always speaks confidently and like someone who has an excellent understanding of the game and the information she is giving.
