Fox HD

Just wondering if anyone has Fox HD at home. Looking at finally upgrading my old foxtel to either IQ or IQ HD.

If so whats it like for sports ?

I have HD.

If you have a decent Plasma or LCD it is a vastly superior viewing experience. It didn't have the active option for HD on the two Saturday games on HD but thats not much of a muchness as the Tigers draw stands so far.

IQ is a absolute must

So IQ HD doesn't have the Viewers Choice option ? I'm assuming its available on the normal SD channel then?

It didn't have the option for me Saturday. It may be a quirk they are sorting out. I haven't asked.

But yes it was available on FS2 normal channel that night

i record the games just in its a great game worthy of watching again down the track

HD sport is amazing. I occasionally switch back to SD Ch9 during the footy and the quality is remarkably obvious.
Definitely go for HD, but FOX Sports HD is still a bit to steep an add-on at the moment.

That's strange I will have to check that out, it should be on there. Once you watch the HD channels you can't go back (you particularly notice it with ESPN SD though, looks terrible after watching HD).

Every Fox NRL game will be shot in HD this season (even the Sky ones are HD).
