Can't believe whats going on at our club.
Our most consistent player of this year Thompson Bksir and Austin released.
What sort of management is this.
Formerly people blamed Bailey and co but what about now?
Heading the the spoon?

every year its a different plan , i for one am sick of there so called plans . we need to have a go next year or there will be no tigers fans left.

We are going to need a lot of luck to avoid the spoon. The newly appointed GM of football operations has been very very quite, would have thought he would be telling the punters some details of the clubs plans for 2015 and beyond. The club faces a massive challenge with their membership drive for 2015

memberships are up from last year.

we're not going to get the spoon. our squad was 9th in round 20, 6th in round 16 before injuries.

Here's our squad vs the Bulldogs:

1\. Moses
2\. Lulia
3\. Simona
4\. Lawrene
5\. Richards
6\. Austin
7\. Brooks
8\. Woods
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway
11\. Sironen
12\. Thompson
13\. Blair
14\. Ava
15\. Taupau
16\. Gavet
17\. Sue

From here, we've lost gavet, thompson and austin. Next year we can add in Tedesco, Nofoaluma, Lodge, Lovett, Halatau. Seems about even in my opinion. If we stay fit we'll make the 8, definitely not a spoon.

Do you really expect someone who's been in the job for like 2 weeks to be coming out and detailing to the media and fans his long term plan for success at such a complicated club? Really??

And generally speaking no-one wanted Blair, Bodene or Austin in the team at the beginning of last season. They were nobodies, or had been in poor form for a long time. A few half decent games doesn't make them world beaters, and letting them go really isn't that big of a deal.

They'd be good for squad depth but are any of them good enough to be a certain starter? Not really…

You lot always find something to go ballistic about.

A lot of my fellow forum members are panic merchants. We let Adam Blair go (which most of the panic merchants were crying for since he pulled on a jersey) and now we are a wooden spoon contender. Come on people. Have some faith. The new coach has been in for not even 2 months (maybe a bit more). None of us know the big picture yet. Making assumptions based on what you read in the telecrap and twitter. We havnt even played a trial match yet!!! There's no proof to warrant a panic.

Settle, relax a little, look at the young talented squad we have and show some faith in the mighty tiges!

Settle down.

Austin wanted to be the starting five-eighth. This wasn't going to happen at the Tigers with Moses in the squad. Canberra will provide him with that opportunity. How happy is he going to be if we kept here where he had to play a role he didn't want to play when he could be playing exactly what he wants (and likely earning much more money) at another club.

Be realistic.

Thompson is good in attack. His defence is sloppy and he is very reluctant to be a decoy runner, which meant that he became easier to defend. Furthermore, he's a makeshift back rower.

Blair has been rubbish for just over 2 seasons here and given what we were paying him, was not worth keeping.

Sure it's meant our back row and halves depth is very low, but they are all the right decisions to make.

Mad Unit. Serious question- forget the poor quality, do we actually have enough players to fill the 17 man match squads for NRL and NSW Cup ? A stack of players have gone, hardly any new ones, with a few to come up from U20's. The fans have a right to be concerned

reminds me of school when the teacher let the most well behaved kid go for lunch first… blair, austin, thompson you can go.. marty you can go now too.

I think the point I'm trying to make is that ok we have released these blokes fair enough BUT we have bought 1 player of any 1st grade experience in K Naqamia I just want depth that's all I do not want to see 2 nd rowers on the wings again ever but the way things are going we will be seeing big red with the number 2 jumper on

We're a club that is a shambles. Tough decisions had to be made to turn things around and are getting made. I'm only seeing positives at the moment.

I can see the possible positives for 2016 and beyond, but I want something positive for next season! As far as I'm concerned it's the only season that really matters right now - I live in the present, not the future.

That's fair enough, losing sucks. But I'm confidant the guys we got can perform like we did up to round 16 this year. A better go with injuries and better leadership can see us having a good year.

I can tolerate a lean yr next yr if we make a 4 or 5 signings for 2016 and 2 of them being in the Merrin class.
