Fulton

Time is up.

One of the consistent mediocre players who hasn't gotten better since he debuted. If anything has become worse.

Off to cronulla Liam!

2 missed tackles by dwyer and heino ,farah 3 by lui 4 by marshall and only 4 line breaks in the whole game with the stats on nrl.com

Fulton generally clocks whole games but he really doesnt offer that much. He does alot of defence but he has no impact in attack.

He cant take a straight hit up, as he makes no meters and gets dominated. But then he also doesnt run wide as a whole runner. So what usage does he really have?

There are players out there who you could sign for next to no money who can do Fultons defensive work and also do some work in attack/have an impact.

Will always hold a special place in tigers hearts for his likeable nature and his premiership win but its six years later…

will look good in a cronulla jersey - likeable - but we have to be professional. im not saying this because of tonights game - im talking about the last 5 or 6 years. If you guys want him to stay - so be it - i wont argue with you - but he wouldnt be in my team. my pack would be - galloway - farah - fifita - blair (he would of been signed by now) BMM and ellis at lock. no room for dwyer (not yet anyway), rhino lucky to be on interchange, (gibbs fulton) - cronulla, payten coach. sorry to all the players in the pack i missed.

You have to put those figures in perspective.
Farah only missed 2 from 41\. Ayshford (usually reliable) and Lui missed 3 each from 15.
Marshall missed 4 from 14 .
I'm thankful Farah was there tonight.

gee i recall posting something along the lines of we will win nothing with fulton ….last night is exactly what i mean ....he might make 40 tackles , but are they bone jarring hits....
we need a clean out of some of sheens favorite sons.if we are to get to the next level ....
fancy letting souths beat you after towelling them up 4 weeks ago .....

We won something called the 2005 telstra premiership with liam fulton. What a load of crap the blokes just coming back from injury and still pulls off 40 tackles. If you want bone jarring hits go sign daine laurie. But daine will totally miss the next three tackles he tries to make. For a bloke trying to get into origin galloway was very disappointing.

Personally I have no problem finding a spot for Fulton in my 17, but it wouldn't be 1-13\. He makes lots of tackles, but the reality is he gets treated like a speed hump in defence. In attack he's got little to no impact, few hit ups and the ones he does make he usually ends up back where he started. I remember watching him play the Titans last year at CSS. I felt really sorry for him, cause he looked like a boy trying to keep up with the men, he was just getting trampled.

hahahaha daine laurie. is that your best comeback,, your living in the past 2005 is 6 years gone i suppose we should dredge up ben galea and mark oneill and paul w deano….they helped win us the 2005 telstra premiership .......

Fulton and Heighno should swap, Liam is better in 13 as a ball player and runs great lines heighno quite often stutters our attack, swap them around and see how they go.

Fulton can defend like a demon and run a great line. The problem is that he is a small forward and he can sort of get lost out there.

When the rest of the forwards are dominating he really helps out. It is times like last night where we need him to make an impact and he doesn't that it is a concern.

I don't know what to think of him - if he is cheap he could be a good option at starting lock forward.

Would he better off the bench or at centre?
