Gagging for the finals

Good effort - too many first half errors, especially from the b team that were called in to cover injuries, but a great effort to keep up the fight against a class outfit.

How good is it to be playing finals footy next week, and heading in with good form?

was always gonna be tough under the circumstances. i was worried we'd get blown off the park by 20+. too many mistakes, but they hung in there. how good was ellis? glad we have at least 7 days to prepare for next week.

I think Sheens feared that when they took that three point lead. No short kick off and three and four players into every tackle of that last Titans set. Gives a solid 7 day preparation for next week after returning home.

It definitely felt like that to me as well.

- Marshall kicking for touch with 10 minutes left.
- Lui kicking it touch in goal with 5 minutes left.
- No short kickoff.

I think with our injury toll it just felt like the players were conserving themselves a bit.

By the way did anyone pick up on a slight limp when Galloway came off in the 2nd half?

Yup I did, but Freddy or anyone didn't say anything after the game I think. So, he is probably allright.

I thought wed go all out to win it at the end,as coming second gives us a week off in a fortnite (if we win next week),which is a huge plus.

Im no Sheens fan….but I dont know what youre blaming him here for?
We have momentum going into the finals, we know with some better handling we take care of another top 4 team on their home ground after a short turnaround.

totally agree i was in despair after 12 mins but the boys toughed it out and could have won.Am confident about next week when we get some troops back

it was a perfect result last night.

no team has won more than 5 in a row this year so we are set to win four in a row from now.

and i think we are the type of team that needs to keep playing. a week off could disrupt our flow a bit.
