Golden point

Poor enough to know I always contemplate leaving whenever we get to that stage, its no good for my health and my fingers this morning are very sore where my fingernails once were
 
I've never felt this munted after a game of football in my life and i've lost 3 grand finals in a row, this feels worse than losing a grand final
 
Yeah I read somewhere that we are 1 from 8 in golden point.

We need to learn to put the game away, it's come back to bite us so many times this year. It seems once we get a comfortable lead we try to sit on it which isn't working out very well..

the side that comes from behind always seems to win the golden pointers .
 
Forget the Golden Point, convert the field goals and we wouldn't be in this position, wake up Tim, not rocket science.
 
Two, I think, of the of the 8 golden point losses were due to Todd Carney field goals. I have been wondering what our win/loss ratio is vs Todd Carney.

get rid of golden point in regular season matches. :imp:
if finals go into extra time, extra 10 min each way, only way to win is by scoring a try. (regardless of last night result.)
no field goals, no penalty shots. 😛ray:
if after this no result obtained, mid week play off.

Worst. Idea. Ever.

Apart from losing, is there a single aspect about the game last night that you would change? Field goals result in heart-attack football. It was easily the game of the year and the best game I personally have ever seen, live or on tv.

I see your point
yes it was a very good game.
one to remember for a while.
I will stick with mine, probably just annoyed that wests-tigers do not have a good record in golden point time.
so if you get rid of it, they will be guaranteed one point.
I know this does not apply to finals footy. so when time is up there, replay the game.
some of game they have lost over the seasons, if ended in a draw may have helpled more finals appearances.
if we both had same opinion, this forum would be mundane.
