Good start Mayer and Potter

For 2 years now we have not had a spine and nothing was done about it with Sheens, it has been a consistent problem for us and it is the major problem we have. Without it you would not get anywhere. Finally something has been done and hopefully our spine can stay injury free so we can get somewhere.

1\. James Tedesco
6\. Blake Austin
7\. Luke Brooks
9\. Robbie Farah

This has nothing to do with potter or Meyer.

Sheens did a lot behind the sceenes with teddy And mosses etc

My question is, why hasnt Austin been able to nail the 6 for penrith when its been a problem area and they had to look elsewhere?

Because when "Flash" came back from injury Lachlan Coote moved to 5/8 to accommodate him into the team. Coote went well and kept his spot at 5/8\. This year Coote got injured and Austin played 1/2, Austin was also injured which caused him to lose his spot, he returned 2-3 weeks ago.

That's putting a lot of faith in a halves combination that haven't played a game for us yet, Milky. I'll reserve my judgment on our spine when I actually see them all play together for a bit. Who even knows where Austin will be playing for us yet?

Anything has to be better than what Benchy and Anasta have been dishing out of late.I look forward to seeing our team play to a structure and game plan which will never happen with Benchy playing.I like the spine with Moses hopefully getting a run.

Would just like the team to take it to the next level and compete for 80 minutes.

If that is going to be our spine next year i would be quite nervous for next year. We would have the most inexperienced spine in the comp,But those halves would probably still do a better than Benji and Anasta.

1\. James Tedesco- 14 games
6\. Blake Austin- 15 games
7 Luke Brooks- 0 games
9 Robbie Farah- 200 games

P.S i think Austin was bought to play in a utility role for the club.

its alot better than what we've had… i think austin and brooks would compliment each others game... not expecting GF in 2014.... but if they get a full season together 2015 could be the go.

There recruitng good players for next year and will only get better next year as were going after big name players im excited for the future.

who is our 5/8th?
ur basing it off what???

What Sheens did behind the scenes with the club most people will never know. What he was doing with the young group like Tedesco, Brooks, Moses etc fans like your self dont see… The crop we have coming through now, you can thanks Sheens for most of it...

sheens did a lot of crazy things and was glad to see him go,but i do credit him for putting a junior programe in place that is the envey of most other clubs in the nrl. a lot of young kids jumped clubs to join our system. The fruits of this system are now coming to light, so once again I give Sheens heaps of credit for putting this system in place its just a pity he lost the plot in so many other areas
