Great win, but Blair had nothing to do with it

The point with Blair is if he was on 250/275 a year we wouldn't be on his back.Paid overs for an under performer…....

Actually,if he was on 250k/yr he wld have been dropped to reserve grade weeks ago & still be there based on his performances. To do that now embarrasses the recruitment folks & diminishes our ability to offload him
In Blair & Benji we have arguably the 2 most over rated & overpaid plarers in the NRL
Its a tesimony to some of the young blokes getting invaluable experience,& Potter buliding a culture in the most trying of circumstances, that we won the last two games

i don't know how anyone can say a prop played well when they have run the ball less than 5 times coming out of their end in 2 games.

it's disgraceful and there are zero excuses you can make for it.

Not making excuses you arrogant peanut. Just giving my opinion based on my observations.

I have no agenda when it comes to Blair.

i didn't say you did.

what has agenda got to do with it?

has my analysis on blair since we were rumored to sign him been unfair?
i've called a spade a spade from the beginning.

I have no idea what you have been saying about Blair.

I simply don't think he played that poorly today apart from the missed tackle an penalty.

I admit to be surprised by his stats as my impression was that he made more metres than the stats suggest. He also made some good clean up tackles as he always does and people tend to ignore.

In summary, does he do bad things, yes. Does he do good things, yes.

then what the hell is your problem.note to self, don't bother engaging in a conversation with southern,if you dare question his opinion.wtf

points went through him and he bludged coming out of our end.
poor excuse for a prop.

Your statement "I don't know how anyone" and then the reference that I was making excuses when I was simply offering an opinion. Both were extremely arrogant.

I don't agree with your assessment of Blair.

oh Southern please.

Blair was a disgrace. To let the opposite frontrower run straight over you to score is enough for me.

That missed tackle was a disgrace. Wish he move on now

Completely and comprehensively outworked by Woods:

WOODS

20 runs, 189 metres, 51 tackles

BLAIR

7 runs, 57 metres, 33 tackles

Disappointing, to say the least.

What else is new ?

Keep him there for the rest of the year while we've got some injuries but get rid of him for next year.

Did anybody notice the deliberate ankle twist after the cannonball tackle? Any chance of it being referred to the match review committee?

Did he get many minutes?

I only saw him miss Mose and give away a stupid penalty.

I love that some guys will back wests players not matter what but come on…this bloke is not worth your passion.

I noticed one by Manu on Simona I think it was, maybe Nofo

Blair played well. That missed tackle was disgraceful but overall his effort was great.

The problem is that he isn't worth what we paid for him.

Yep,he's actually starting to show glimpses of form but still not anywhere near his Storm efforts.

Great win,not pretty but they hung in all day long,

Blair missed mose one on one then PEttybourne missed him one on one .i thought Blair went ok today .pettybourne on the other hand shouldn't be in the top grade .woulndnt knock the skin off my grandmas custard

Actually updated stats this morning shows Blair was exactly as involved as woods on a per minute basis

Woods - 20 hitcups and 46 tackles in 69 minutes
Blair -9 hitcups and 37 tackles in 48 minutes

So both were involved roughly in 1play a minute for their time on the field. I'm not saying Blair was as good as woods but he worked hard, played well in defence and attack and was on when Penrith had more ball. He also did quality work in his tackling and running and quick play the balls. I think he has played well this year when he has been a prop or lock, just not as an edge back rower. Next year I'd have him at lock

Haha good find BoonBoon…..I thought Blair didnt get much game time just watching on TV...a spell to start and maybe the last 20 I think

I'm glad he made 33 Tackles…

If he made 34 tackles Mossie Masaou wouldn't of scored under the sticks. Otherwise a speed hump in that instant.
