The commentators and old school nostalgia are the reason we even have this debate. I don't mind Vossy (don't like him either) but him saying our jerseys have to favour Balmain or Western Suburbs is laughable.
We're a new (15 year old) brand, get on board.

I've had no connection to our foundation clubs whatsoever, so forgive my ignorance/bluntness, but we really need to just get on with it.
Yes, we're a merger club, but we've given 15 years of our time in petty faction arguments and trying to balance orange, black and white without offending anyone.
We've got a new board, new GM, new coach, and a bunch of impressionable, talented young players, there is literally no better time to rebrand ourselves as Wests Tigers. I'm not the biggest fan of the jersey, but it is a necessary step in the right direction. Embrace the change, it will only be a positive thing.

when this was suggested years ago all the old tiger supporters were up in arms bagging the wests diehards….now the shoe is on the other foot....I agree should be alternate...but amazing turnaround in opinion

Rubbish. The difference is it was always 50/50 (well 60/40 given the Magpie on the jersey). This year its 80/20.

Anyway I think most agree the grey jersey is shite and we should go back to orange (preferably Balmain gold and not the Mandarin orange we have been using) and black alternates. Both aesthetically and politically it makes sense.
