So I was having a look back at our season and something struck me

2024 Season

Leichardt/Campbelltown - 6 Matches - 3 Wins, 3 losses. 4 games remaining. Points for 148, Points Against 138 Points Diff = +10

Away/Neutral - 13 Matches - 1 Win, 12 Losses, 1 Game remaining. Points for 189, Points against 428 Points Diff = -239

We actually have a positive home record this year and if you include next years home ground (and last yrs) at CommBank we are 4 wins, 3 losses and 2 of those losses were to last yrs Grand Finalists.

A lot of talk about the Bulldogs but even they are only 2 and 8 away from home and most teams struggle away from home - even Panthers and Storm have a worse away record.

What we have done is given away 2 home games to Tammworth and Magic Round where you would suggest that if they were at Leichardt/Campbelltown then we would have had a much better chance of winning espe given the DOlhpins struggles in Sydney and we only lost to the Knights by 6 in front of a majority Knights crowd in tammworth (I went)

With 4 home games remaining Cowboys who all struggle at Leichardt, Souths who have had an average season, Manly who are very up and down and the sturggling Eels their is a good chance we finish with a positive home record.

Also suggests to me the money for Magic Round better be amazing to give away our biggest advantage again next year because while I'm not suggesting we were finals bound this year if we were on 6 wins equal with the Titans and with 4 of 5 winnable games at home to come then our season and feelings about it would be very different.

I think the NRL should force the home game allocation for Magic Round be evenly split over time. The richer clubs are happy to keep their home games for their real homes.

it’s around $300k … I agree that they shouldn’t give this game up year upon year ..

Was there only 11k there last night ?

Good crowd but Looked like it was under quoted ..similar to a couple of the LO crowds …

Hope everything is above board here …
Earlier in the year this was mentioned (titans game) and I defended the club, but I'm starting to wonder....lower crowds at LO and CSS supports the stadium strategy and I know plenty of managers who would have some creative way of counting things like this to "manage optics"

4 wins, 4 losses at home this year (5 wins, 4 losses at next years home grounds).

2 home games left
Its very interesting, especially when you add the F/A as you did in the first post. Club needs to focus a little more of winning as a pathway to $, focusing on $ hasn't led to winning

I was there last night and was surprised they only registered 11K or so. Looked much fuller than that. What’s the stadium capacity? I’d say it was 75% full at the absolute minimum. That’s being conservative.

I had the wests tigers promoting only 1k tickets left 2 hrs before kick off.. I tell ya what on tv it looked like alot more than 1k seats available! I hope they stop doing this sh1t don't treat us fans as idiots.

Just in passing, and remembering that Richo's new/revised seating packages for members includes CommBank as part of all the allocations, here is a pic today of the CommBank surface as it welcomes the 1st game of the A Leagues season (home of Western Sydney Wanderers):

Remind me again, CommBank, is that parras home ground?

I know, I know .........
But when I was talking to our club's membership dept., the gent was adamant that Richo had this factor all in hand under his watch.....

And having gone there, the very 1st day we played there as a home game, against the Eels of all teams, when we were thrashed by Parra, and Moses scored a beauty against us, I sure know how the ground "feels" as a WT supporter .......
