I was nervous even at 24-6, I was praying that Souths wouldnt make another comeback and go to golden point. But at 30-6 with about 12 mins to go I was feeling good.

Was a slow start and Souths looked good but when Benji went through in the 16 min we never looked back. Great defense and the attack picked their moments good. Still a few silly errors but with the amount of injuries thats to be expected.

I tipped against the Tigers because of the injury toll but was always hopeful. When I got to the game I was feeling confident and was around alot of Souths supporters who were confident. Good feeling when I knew the win was in the bag and the Souths supporters started looking for the nearest exit.

Good to get a win back after the thrashing last year, the golden point loss after the siren and the Nathan Merrit field goal on the siren.

Look forward to next week against a desperate Gold Coast Titans. :sign:

It was great to beat souths and what made it even better was that I was sitting amongst souths supporters who were painful in the U20s with their team winning however they were very quiet in the main game and it was bitter sweet to watch them leaving early.

Souths are my number one most hated team. Always good to beat them, but especially this year with them supposedly being one of the competition favourites!

My week is good when South Scum loose… even if the Tigers loose... When the Tigers Win and Souths loose... my week is even better.... so you could imagine how I feel when we are the ones beating them!

I wasn't worried at all once we got a leg up.. I was disappointed we didn't put more on them! Why? Because with 25mins to go they had 1 interchange left! They were never coming back.

Still remember that day we flogged them at LO years back... that was a great day!!!

I also remember the day they flogged us at LO and cost us a spot in the finals.... that was a terrible day....
