How to fix the goalkicking %

Benji can't be coached at anything, he is an instinct person.

I can only say that since JT has started coaching him, his kicking has sucked, throwing his natural ability off..

You know i reckon he's a great striker of the ball…..just doesn't seem to take a good line...always to the left from either side of the park...Once he starts trusting himself to throw it right more and allow for the draw(right to left) he'll be kicking them from all over the place...

I'd be sticking with him....To me it seems he draws it more under fatigue...If he has a kicking coach he sould have spotted this really.......practice at concord and game pressure...world of difference.

He'll be getting high %'s soon enough...but frustrating atm i know

I don't see the point of chasing great former kickers. Just because someone can kick goals, doesn't mean he can teach someone to kick goals.

Just to reignite this debate again, wasn't Lote the second kicker behind De Vere at the Broncos?

Sheens can't hand the kicking duties over to just anyone, because I could see it upsetting Benji. But I think if he gave the duties to a player of Lote's stature, it might sit ok with Benji.

He seriously has to be better than the 60% Benji is kicking at the moment.

he should start watching how gidley kicks, just straight.
Especially this year he's trying to do some stupid hook kicking like thurston, and its obviously not working.
