Thought our fowards all played really well, Blair looks awesome , and Ellis is always awesome , and I thought our young guys in groat and woods really looked comfortable in top grade , look like they have both benifeted from experience last year
All our fowards were impressive there was some sting in defence and they ran the ball back really well

how big is BMM - reminds me of frankenstein. potential plus - could be a big year for him. i just hate it when he drops the ball.

BMM has great potential, no doubt. Of all the guys last night though, I thougt he was the least impressive. Early days, of course.

ive heard mixed reports of how Groat went. I like groat and we need him to become a solid bench player this year. Out of interest did any of our established players move into the middle and play a prop like role (Ellis, Blair, Heigno)
I just had a feeling that one of those will spend 15 or 20 minutes at prop at some stage.

BMM needs this season to be his break through year.He was disappointing last night.Players can have potential, but there comes a time when this is exhausted.

Goose, they both seemed to play wide running roles. Both looked dangerous whenever they touched the ball. I didnt see eith play prop, as we had Groat and Moors on the bench. However they should get a full game this weekend so we will see if anything changes.

if they are carving them up out wide, makes no sense to move them tighter, been trying to think how 4 x near 80 minute players are going to fit into 3, was thinking maybe one will spend a little tme in th efront row

Yeah Goose I think it will happen, but Sheens will be very cautious about burning either player out. Gareth could be the concern as his age may make him a little more injury prone.

I think that if he does move either player to prop in the regular season it will only be in short bursts. He is likely to look at Groat and BMM to cover those positions from the bench.
