but its all dependant on our first 10 gamesif we can be 7 wins from our first 10 games, i think we will be in for a big year.

and i believe that folkes will have the biggest influence on us, weve been known for our attack but i believe this year it will be our defence that wins us our games.

15 wins is very achievable provided key players such as Farah and Marshall stay fit, plus we need our front rowers fit and firing. If the injury gods are kind, then 15 wins or more could be on the cards IMO.

i think with the inclusion of folkes those games we have lost between 1-8 points in the past will turn in our favor this year

The back third of the season is where its at.

Yes …..but it would be nice for a change to not have to win 6 of our last 8 just to sneak into the 8........

Win a few more of those games .......Sheens says a win or loss here won't mean we do or dont make the 8....well guess what....they do....

A nice goal would not be lose two in a row......+ the biggest winning streak in the Clubs history from July till October would be nice.....

17 wins minimum....It's what the side is capable of...IMO

I agree with you on that. The one thing Folkes and the Tigers know is that they need to learn to grind out those close games and this is what they have been working hard on. If the defence tightens up another 5-10% on last year, then those losses become wins IMO.

it will be nice knowing in round 22 that we are assured of a finals spot, like geo said having to win 3/4 or 4/5 to make the finals in a comp where you can lose half your games and still make it isnt good enough

I would definately like to be sitting pretty in the top 8 for the last few rounds of the season - but the reality of it is there is usually only around three teams that are comfortable in the top 8 in the last few rounds .

13 wins is my tip. 26 points + 4 for the byes. 30 points and in 7th on the ladder. Thats as optimistic ive been so far this year. I think we will be fighting for 6th to 10th and wont have a secured spot till at least the end of round 25.

how about 14 wins and 2 byes making us 6th or 5th, i wanna say 3rd or 4th but just wait and see if we get tnt and lote on the park 4 at least 18 to 20 rounds then we can beat most sides imo

Not sure about that mate.

I reckon we won 7/9 in "the back third" of last season and finished a gutsy 9th.

Win 7 from the first 9 and its hard to stuff it up from there.

We need a decent goal kicker. If we can kick goals consistently at 80% then we will be well on our way to winning those close ones. I can't count how many times we'd score a try to get us back into the game with 10 to go, but they didn't convert so we'd be down by 8 instead of 6\. It takes the pressure off the other team and is a blow psychologically to us.

Defence looked AWESOME in the last half of the season. From memory I think we only averaged 14 points a game against us during our last 10 or so games.

Whatever happens, I'm looking forward to this season. The Tiges look like they have an exciting team!
