Have no idea how people can think from 3 spoons to the 8

Kids need time to develop Bula has not played 50 games still needs work on defence needs to watch a few videos with Garry Jack playing fullback in them

Need a number 11 or 12 with some experience

A centre apparently Lomax is not happy at Parramatta so made keep an open spot and see what happens

But 9 Wins is a great year

I think you been black balled. Thats a scene from Bladerunner. The NRL controls the game. Including the referees. Its their way or the high way. Those people just came for their chicken raffle. At the beginning of this season I didn’t think we could make the 8 in 2025 as after looking at the rosters and past form of the rest of the competition I couldn’t see that there were 9 teams that we’d be better than. However now after 4 rounds there aren’t too many stand out clubs and it may be surprising which teams make the 8 and which teams holiday early.
Our biggest problems will be our depth (injuries taking their toll) and our weaknesses in a couple of important positions. Still 3 quality players short of a finals team and carrying too much dead wood in our top 30.

If Lomax was available which he isn’t, I definitely don’t want him as a centre.

He is undoubtedly one of the games best wingers but is a below average centre. Why he just won’t eat humble pie and accept he’s not a centre is beyond me

His ability to set up his winger is pathetic, ball lands everywhere else but on the winger's chest, most of the time into touch.
 
We will be close to making the 8 this year. Reality is that’s not where you want to be. To challenge we need reinforcements and growth from within. Not happening this year. With luck and no injuries it’s possible.

The injuries to key players have started. Hopefully a couple of signings announced in the next month.
