Amazing what team can be fielded without being hamstrung to the selection rules of the All Stars side

good starting team, but their bench is light on good props. theyll win but, theyve got more to play for. if any game was gonna be rigged, itd be this one. the whole week is built up on the indigenous ppl, itd be a let down of they didnt win

They are always light on for genuine props - but they have three big blokes on the bench who can play there in Webb - James and Paterson!

I would have Thompson starting ahead of Idris! Thompson is a great young player and he almost burnt us at Leichhardt this year!

I always had a feeling that the match last year was going to be rigged and after watching the NRL all stats poor attempts at the double try it made me think that even more. I don't think they can rig it every year though or it will start to look very suspicious.

Rigged is a big call bro!

The double try is all about the game's true status as an exhibition game - not about deliverately throwing the result!

The Indigenous team will always be ahead on the level of unified-motivation - and that combined with flair, speed and skill will win any such exhibition-style game more often than not!

Expect more of the same next year!

Here is NRL All Stars team from March 2010 - The 2011 should be a bit better.

Im thinking there will be a new Representative from Broncos, Canberra, Dragons, Cronulla and Maybe Dogs

My NRL All Stars team, assuming they use the same formula as this year

1\. Jarryd Hayne (Parra)
2\. Manu Vatuvei (Warriors)
3\. Michael Jennings (Penrith)
4\. Shaun Kenny-Dowall (Easts)
5\. Aku Uate (Newcastle)
6\. Darren Lockyer (Aus Captain)

Actually pumped that one out pretty easily, I thought it would be tough.

MM, the vice captains arent picked automatically this time. Smith and Blair will have to fight it out in their respective positions.

Not that good a team.

Our All stars will kill em this time.

Geeze. Are you sure?

Campbell
Tonga
Inglis
Prince
Thurston
TLL
Thaiday
Bird
Soward

Plenty of quality there. The forwards are light on yes, but Corey Paterson is not the worst player in the world.

Paterson is under-rated. On another note, I hope they drop that stupid try conversion thing for next year's game.
