Interesting observation

No Need to apologise guys, Gibbs performance over the last few seasons have justified the critisism.

Is this a Credit to Sheens Moment where he saw something in the Lad and he has come good???

Im please with Gibbs Performance which has shown maturity so far in 2010, however I am more than happy for our guys to be overlooked for Origin. I think we have a ruffy chance at the trophy this year.

I have always thought he was a good defender but seems to have gone up a notch this year and is one of our best. He even ran the ball into the defence nice and hard a few times last week which has always been my criticism of him. When he consistently runs with venom more often and only looks for the line play when it is definitely on, and keeps the brain explosion penalty out of his game the selectors will rightly be all over him.
That's when he will have matured and realised his potential. In the meantime I look forward to seeing him named each week for the tigers.

It's interesting he does seem a different player this year completely. He has got the mistakes and rubbish out of his game that is'nt costing us penalties. My wife said the other week at the Manly game i think that she thought he looked older, he has lost his puppy fat and grown up i think.

Gibbs only ever gives penalties away when the team is back pedalling in defence too. Intelligent footy.

He is a great player, and has matured nicely.

i think he matured a lot when liam left and kind of showed him how to work hard without him there and now that liam is back bryce must me enjoying his footy a lot more now and its showing in both attack and defence

What I think it told him was, despite the fact your a local junior and despite the fact the club had high hopes for you as a youngster, it will not guarantee you a free career long ride at the club, you have to earn it.

a try hasnt been scored against us whilst bryce gibbs has been on the field this year…

ive been one of his biggest critics over the last few years, even wanted him punted from the club all together. however i dont think im exaggerating when i say he is close to form front rower in the comp atm.

you dont notice it on tv but at the ground its evident that his line spend is enormous and im confident if required he could play 70-80minutes. this year his hit ups have had a little more venom in them aswell. i think bryce gibbs has finally arrived

it is very noticeable on tv.i have pointed out his line speed for years and why he was worth persisting with.
the quality in hitups is what develops with age.

and sorry to rain on the parade but gibbs was on the field for the 3rd manly try.
sheens brought sauce and giibs straight back on after the 2nd try was scored by manly.
