I mean, think about that alleged sportsman's lunch comment, he's getting paid by the Wests Tigers to do nothing for two years, I'm not saying he deliberately set out for the 2013 season to fail in order to get two years free pay, but it is pretty much a no lose situation for him isn't it?

It was out of his hands, but as it stands he's full time Kangaroos coach on I imagine very good coin, and on top dollar with us for doing diddly squat…..two salarys for one job that involves possibly one game early in the season then a world cup in Nove I guess.....looking at roughly $2m for a handful of games.
Is he better off???
Hmmmm....lemmee think about that.

…......................Sheens has travelled to the UK to visit the venues of Australia’s matches and begin preparations for what will be the longest tour for an Australian representative team since the mid 90s.............................

Hmmm let's see - earning lots of money without the effort and stress. Yeah I'd say he's much better off

I'm betting Millennium Stadium and Old Trafford get more of a look over than say the Racecourse Ground at Wrexham. Poor bastard might even have to watch some EPL or 6 Nations game just to get a feel for the venues… It's a tough life at the top!!

He will also have the option of St george or Brisbane or Aukland coaching job by half way through the year as well.

Things are looking up for mr sheens.

any chance these sheens threads could go into the nrl forum.
i keep throwing up in my mouth when i view the wests tigers forum.

The ultimate 'Get Back' at Sheenius will be when another club tries to sign him during the next two years only to be told by the WT you aren't free to sign anywhere. < This will surely be Karma biting him on his backside.

The players only stood up and demanded a change cause this bloke couldn't see the writing on the wall.

The arrogance of the man…....

Not without compensation to us first.

Handshake or otherwise Sheenius gave the board his word that he would fall on his own sword should we fail to make the 8.

Id rather the club pay him for two years than simply release him should another suitor come along. The longer he is out of the game this less employable he becomes.

I know this is not a rational thing to do and hence why i dont run the club

Why wouldnt we release him if this ''other club'' and Sheens came to an agreement…our burden is then gone

I know the money is important to the club Ink , but the prick in me agrees with Ken

This is what you get for screwing our club , Tim
