Certainly Tim Sheens saw a future for Galvin in the 3 years he was with us and signed him to a top 30 contract in November 23.
It was only Eels who didn’t recognise Galvin had an NRL future.

When Bud was signed in November 23, Luai was having a secret meeting with Benji at his home.
Furthermore, it’s ludicrous to assert that Richo, who agreed to accept the interem CEO position in early December 23 had not been in talks with the club months earlier. He would have been knee deep in it.
Do you remember in that December 23 door stop Richo told us Tigers were pulling out of AFB talks and praising Luai?
C’mon mate, let’s call it as it looks. The Pascoe camp needed a win and rushed into the Bud signing.

This is the Wests Tigers way. The board had a recruitment manager at the time, Fulton. Pascoe was also negotiating with Bud. Neither of those 2 knew that Benji and Richo were in talks with Luai. The old saying "the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing" may well apply.
I doubt if those board members, who secretly parachuted Fulton into recruitment knew what Benji and Richo were up to, otherwise they could have jeopardised the operation. LOL
Was Pascoe sacked or did he leave? I'm hoping he was told to resign otherwise we have more pain to come.

Contract dates mean very little. Richo had a contract starting date of 1st January, but there he was telling us on 13 December that AFB was no longer in our sites and Luai was our main target.

Ah, from memory Bud was signed before Sezer. Which was McDaniel?? Time.

Pre Fulton. Fulton would not have signed Bud because he knew who was available in the Manly sheds.
