Jayden Sullivan

Any chance we can get the actual Ezra M?

Having his pace ( in another player) might not make a lot of difference… although speed is something the WT have a shortage of
Talented players need good coaching and the right system/culture.

This is where we have failed these players and ourselves in the past few years.

This is why they ger washed up or willingly move onto other clubs.

its the 1 gripe i have with Bunjie, talked the kid up, in the off season saying all time patients and education would Sullivan be afforded but never transpired? Signed Luia 2 months later ,Lazy player ,lazy coach, he is Wayne's project now, dont really see Bud kicking on until his twilight years. What you say above is a more important fix than the board

Sullivan played 8 games for us in 2024 and while not setting any records he showed enough to see he has some talent. Hope he does well under the coaching and mentoring of the old fox and maybe the younger foxx and returns to us a 50 gamer for the 26 season.
Mate I didn't get the disdain for the guy on here, he didn't do much wrong always seemed to have a good attitude and was willing to fight for his spot and apparently was training hard in the off season.

There were games last year where he played and was the only person on our team who troubled the opposition whatsoever.
The talk about him was way over the top in negativity. Was he great/good? no. NONE of them were.

Named in the indigenous team so won’t have to wait long to see him lead a team.

By his own admission he was apparently overweight and disinterested last year. He may have improved both during the off-season but it also sounds like he was on the bludge last season.

I’m sure there was talk even before round 1 last year that he still wanted to be at the Dragons. I vaguely remember him being quoted in an article alluding to it.

GnR - i don't understand why you didn't use the original Bud Sullivan thread. The Mods are working free - why create more spam??? We have enough in Signings,Suggestions, Rumours and Fantasy. Sorry to.Bud in. Apologies GNR. ANCIENT MAGPIE

That's the classic line. It's the "You'll see the 'real' Julia Gillard" trick. John Bateman is doing the same thing at the cowboys. It's not true, they were just crap.

The thing is with Bud Sullivan is that he hasn't actually played that much first grade football. I think a lot of people talk about him like he's a really experienced 1st grader. He's not. He's quite an old rookie. He's 23 and he's played less than 50 first grade games. Brooks and Moses had both played over 80 games by the time they were 23. Teams were picking him off easy as last season. We couldn't win a match without Aiden Sezer. He's not ready to steer a a team for 80 minutes let alone for a season.

Bud got his run in our team and he totally shanked it. He's lucky to get a season under Bennett. It's likely his last chance.
