More Tigersharks
The exodus of players from Wests Tigers to Cronulla may not be over just yet. Joel Reddy has been in the sights of the Sharks, although his more likely destination for next year is South Sydney.

Lets face it, it will probably be sharks. Because why do anything original, just repeat history and still be a nothing hopeless club with zero premierships.

Lots going out the door, not to many coming in the door. I was the no1 supporter of a cleanout but you still need plenty of old heads mixed in with the kids. Our club cant afford three bad years in a row ,fans and sponsors can be very fickle.

What we have left on the books plus all our hot juniors will not get us near the eight in 2014\. I would have kept Reddy,he added some starch to some pretty flimsy defense out wide and was very good insurance as he covered 1 thru 5

Reddy is a keeper in my opinion , especially remembering the interview from a while back commenting on how he was working with the back three

Our back three has improved dramatically over the last 6 weeks

Aw shucks, I like Joel -

He's too young for it, but it would be great to having him at the club in a coaching role - he's a wise man's head on 26 year old shoulders.

The reason he came to the Tigers was he wasn't getting a great run in 1st grade at the eels, and we were short on decent backs at the time.

How the worm has turned - they would be SCREAMING for a guy like Joel in their backline - even at the expense of their miserable Midget Mullaney.

I strongly disagree. I think he has a lot to offer, very underrated. Would be a shame to see him go. I'm going out on limb and saying the Sharks call is a wind up. We couldn't possibly lose another one to those leeches

I have extremely mixed feelings about Reddy. An extremely hard worker & solid defender, who deserves a spot in first grade but his speed lets him down. I wouldn't pick him over one of our faster backs (once they get their defense up) but it would pain me to do so because he is so valuable in all other areas. Staying or going, I'd be extremely happy for him.

A decent player, has a handy offload but just doesn't have the strength to be effective in the forwards and lacks the pace to be an effective back. I can't see him ever being more than a fringe player where ever he goes.

Joel covers a lot of positions, competently. There were a stack of people on here a coupkle of weeks ago who claimed that he was switching to the second row and it was a done deal. He is just what all clubs need as injuries always happen.

Truth is, right now he is a better centre than Lawrence, a better winger than Koro and a better fullback than Tedesco. He may not be our future, but we need him in the present.

By the way, when is he expected to return from injury?

I see Lulia as his replacement

Cant really have two of these level players in the same position on your books

Lol at the sharks they are trying to sign all our roster but one thing for sure they wont win a comp and if you look at there roster there all in the 27 and up so they have to win it in the next couple of years. Btw why would they sign Highno and let Jason Bakyua leave.

Signing our old roster and they got about the same result against the Roosters we traditionally do.

Agree. He's been solid enough and dependable enough but he's not a strike centre or winger and we have that in Simona, Nofo, Koro and Mr T all improving at the moment.

I think we should keep him , versatility, experience and a great footy brain and good influence on the kids . Also he was named to start in the 2nd row before his injury so perhaps potter sees him as an option their given its our weakest position

I reckon we should keep him. Reminds me of Mitch brown. Not a superstar but gets the job done. Decent under the high ball too.
