Anyway, as someone else has said - though I believe Galvin is the better prospect, I'm glad we have Latu.

Not really, his manager asked for what 3-6 releases from memory. His management team were pushing hard to get him out.
That only changed when negative backlash came his way with words from the John’s brothers and other media had similar thoughts. It was creating a spoilt smell around him.
It was all from his camp, hardly see its idle gossip?!?

I agree, but look at what you are saying...

When will:
Our halves be Great,
Our Backs be Great,
Our forwards be Great!

and we will have strong Depth options?

I don't even think it's a "Pick 3 of the above". Honestly it's "Pick two" tops, unless your the Storm or Easts and can grab Unkle Nicks party money.

Depth is the one category we should sacrifice. We naturally need some kind of spine, and we clearly need a good halfback... Hopefully we have this in Luai. We need a forward pack, and this year we are a bit short (would be very short without May). ... Hoping our backs get it together...

Depth though is money spent on players that may not even start in the year. Stuff spending money on depth and forget cap spaces 20-30.

It’s clear Issac Moses, as he did with his nephew, doesnt see Galvin at the WT long term….his advice to Galvin will always be to get out….
 
Not only did he seek a release last year (More than once apparently), there was also the rumour he had a tantrum in the dressing room after the game in the Gong and was “rested” the week after (No one has ever considered that he was dropped on the down low for disciplinary reasons). Combine that with him turning down free money this year, it doesn’t bode well. How many players choose to stay on minimum wage when there is a significant upgrade on offer. I realise this is negative, and I know some don’t like it and prefer to live in a bubble, but just because it’s negative doesn’t mean it’s not reality.

Cleary pulled Moses Contract.
Weather he stays or goes - No one can say (Certainly not you)
Cleary pulling the contract may well have been the 1st Domino to losing all of them.

Cleary definitely pulled Moses contract from the table.
what went down after that is well reported.

The saga did drag out, and I doubt any of them were signing on either...
But no one had signed anywhere when the Contract was pulled.

I know Cleary pulled the offer. I remember that specifically. He pulled Moses, and he put deadlines on Tedesco and Woods. Yes they were still unsigned when Cleary got here, but their minds were already made up.

As I recall, his camp weren’t too happy when the coach who hired him got sacked. A similar case with IP. These guys would enjoy taking kids Christmas presents. 😂
