The poor guy, iv heard that people are never the same after dislocating a hip, let alone sportsmen and women. I was stunned when Lawrence couldn't run down Mannering i think it was. He has lost so much speed and agility, hopefully a full off season will help him turn it around, honestly though i keep hearing people say that when someone dislocates a hip they are never going to get fully back to where they were previously, in term's of agility and speed. It will be interesting to see how Widdop recovers from his it must be a horendous injury to cop. I hope they both recover. It was also great to see Simon Dwyer is still apart of the club in the coaches box.

Probably didn't help gettin dog shotted twice . As a massive fan of his it's sad but I think he is days are numbered

I didnt think he was that slow trying to run down Mannering, he had to turn as well… he has some horrendous reads in defence still which I think is more worrying.

My heart goes out to lawrence though his hip injury pretty much may have stuffed his career, just like Dwyer's injury ended his.

Late in the game he got a great ball with a whole paddock in front of him and he was moving like Buchanan as he made his way upfield

As much as I would hate to do this , he also needs to be told to find another NRL side

He's nowhere near a 380 k player anymore

Wow I was at the game and he looked dangerous all night and made 120 meters, 1 try , 1 line break and didn't miss a tackle and all this on a night when he got heavily hit a couple of times . He was one of our best is probably getting my points as top 3 tonight

For me it wasn't the mannering chase..it was the Simona kick and chase..when Simona kicked infield for Chris..and he couldn't get anywhere close..watch the replay and you will clearly see what I mean..think we will find that Chris realises his problem and retires at the end of the season.

i just hope in enough time he can get back to being nearly where he was before his injury, i thought he played well it just shocked me a bit, how much speed he has lost.

I hope he doesn't retire

At the game tonight and thought Rowdy had a really good game. Okay he is not that speedster he was once but half the no3 and 4s in the NRL could not run out of sight in a dark night. His role is to set up the flyers out wide or be a battering ram when close to the line when in attack and be hard as nail in defense.

Isn't terrible to see thes guys with such potential, floundering because of serious injuries. Lawrenece and Dwyer could have gone on to have huge careers. Thought he was pretty solid tonight, just needs to keep working on his defense.

Agree, it was great to see Dwyer in the coaches box. Really feel for him.

This is true. His speed was more of an asset when he was a winger. It is all but gone now. Three times tonight I was amazed how slow he has become. That being said, when close to the line he runs onto the ball strongly and ran over a tough boy to score. His defence was a lot better as well.
