Leg Pulling

Did anyone else notice the leg pull Thurston put on Thaiday after he made a semi-line break around the 37th minute of the first half in the Broncos vs Cowboys game. I didn't think there was anything in it at all, but my point to this thread is that it looked exactly the same as Blair's last week. Blair got off, so I'm not complaining. But i think it will be interesting to see if some of these "protected players" are pulled up on these things, the same as blokes with a bit of a record like Blair are. Consistency would be nice.

The refs are cheats.

You give them a little leeway for human error for things like forward passes and borderline offside decisions. But anything in the ruck should be called consistently and fairly regardless of who is involved.

So much refereeing in the ruck is down by form rather than substance, and this is to the detriment of the game. Instead of uniform ruck speed some things and some players are allowed to do as they please because it is 'right' in the eyes of the ref and others can not. What is right isn't even based upon the stated interpretations and guidelines, it is entirely within the desires of the refs.

This is cheating by the officials and should be rubbed out of the game, but borrowing from the english class system the ref is sacrosanct and allowed to cheat to their hearts content.
How often do refs get dropped for this sort of cheating? Rarely if ever, it only seems to be tries from forward passes, missed high shots, missed knock ons, i.e rarer and less impacting one off events rather than systematic calls.

And it was really obvious because of thaidays bright yellow boots and nothing was even vaguely mentioned.
Although if c.smith had done it theywould have gone on about how good a tackle it was so it could have been worse.
