Bell out spence to start. From tele match centre. I can't post the link - sorry

"THE Wests Tigers have shuffled their forward pack for tonight's clash against the Broncos at Campbelltown Stadium.

Starting lock Matt Bell is out due to a tendon injury in his finger and Shaun Spence comes off the bench into the No.13 jersey.

Keebra Park product Sauaso Sue comes on to the bench."

Brooks and Moses faded a bit in the end. Rowe had another off night and was switched with Rudolph on the wing for the final 20 mins. Rudolph was just as bad if not worse at the back.

I'm still so impressed by these two halves. They looked so cohesive together and you can see them talking to each other the whole game. Put them both in firsts next week I say!!

That is significant IMO….there hasn't been much talk in our first grade side since Prince left, he was always spurring his teammates onto a bigger effort circa '05 whether we were winning or losing a game.

Watch the halves of a good team when they walk off the field at halftime, Foran/DCE or Cronk/Widdop and they are always discussing tactics etc when they walk off the field. Your half and 5/8 need to have that ability to read each others thoughts to be successful.

Poor final option from Brooks on our last set kicking on the 2nd/3rd tackle???

Rubbish kick, too big to regather …..pressure got to him it seems

The biggest issue with our NYC side is Willow pure and simple

Everytime he makes a comment , bang the opposition scores ,its scary Go back and check the threads

Kul , I don't know if you have an admin review but you need to invoke something

My guess is Todd himself will take care of it , the bloke in the box next to Todd with his hands tied and his mouth taped up will be everyone's favourite Willow

I'd love to see Moses being trialled at fullback. He has all the instincts of a fullback, is great talker and is pretty good in the air from what I've seen. Rowe had a shocker last night, and it couldn't hurt to trial Moses there for a game or 2 IMO.

Considering the injury to Moltzen, and he's never going to push Marshall out for the next couple for years, he could be a good option as a back up for Tedesco.

I think we need to find a way to get both Brooks and Moses in first grade over the next couple of years, they are the future.

You've just contradicted yourself there unfortunately. In one part you say you want Moses as a backup fullback for Tedesco, who if he reaches his potential, will be our fullback for the next decade.

On the other hand you say you want Moses in first grade in the next couple of years. That's not gonna happen if you move him to fullback.

I'd rather leave him at five-eight and hone his skills there so by the time Benji's contract is up (end of 2015 if I remember correctly), we have a well-drilled replacement ready to step in to first grade if the club decides that's the right way to go.

With the fullback position I think it's either you have it or you don't, it's very hard to manufacture a fullback, see Moltzen for the evidence. I'd be happy to keen Rowe as a backup fullback, or we also have Simona and Meaney who have experience there.

No contradiction there mate, do you think he has a better chance of ousting Marshall/Sironen/Anasta at 5/8 than fullback with only Tedesco there this year? Tedesco has far from cemented the fullback position. He has the potential, but he's only had 1 full game in first grade there, and hasn't done anything in first grade to cement the position yet. He's also coming back from an ACL injury which Lazarus and recently Moltzen have shown it can easily go again, fingers crossed it doesn't.

I read somewhere that we're already in talks to extend Marshall's contract, and realistically I'm sure management will keep him around as long as he wants to stay.

Moses has already had quite a bit of fullback experience in the juniors, and has gone really well so he won't be a manufactured fullback. Rowe is barely holding is position in NYC, and Meaney would be going backwards, Simona is an option though.

This side is disappointing me at the moment.

So much talent and they are not getting the results at this stage. Maybe a prop short?
I know there is a lot of 18 and 19 year olds, maybe this is the difference, i expect more from them. Im still confident they will make the 8, but id like to see them perform more consistently.

The halves are great. Santi and Lovett strong every week.

I expected huge things from Curtis rowe this year, he was good last year, i thought another off season, another year of physical develpment and experience and he'd be a star, but has been inconsistent, some great game, and great moments, but not the consistency i'd hoped for.

Am with you on this Goose but can' put my finger on it other than attitude. Think they were in a similar position last year and drifted in & out until the last 4 or 5 games. Think this year will also give a good indication if Todd is going to be a serious NRL coach contender in the future

What do you expect from an on the outer fill-in player who's played 5 positions in 3 games?!! Poor kid he can't get named in the 18 yet as soon as there's an injury he can leapfrog everyone and land a starting spot!! His confidence must be shot to pieces!!
As for Rowe, what's his excuse??!!!!!

Wasn't Rowe living with Mosese at the time of his unfortunate passing? That might be the answer.

We are probably underestimating the effect Mosese's death has had on his teammates who are all just kids basically. This season was always going to be hard after that devastating tragedy.
Hope the boys can gather some confidence and consistency and give their title defence an almighty shake in honour of their big mate, that would be bloody great to see.
