I have a theory. Being inexperienced as we are, the side lacks focus, especially in defense, which is shown as a weakness when momentum goes against us.
Now, the theory is that the referees have a tendency to favour the side that is expected to lose earlier in the game, in matches with a discernible underdog, to attempt to create a balanced contest. When we come up against heavily favoured sides the referees blow us into the contest early on, which when you factor in that other than inexperience we actually have a very talented side allows us to get mentally into the contest early in matches, while on the other side of the equation when they favour the opposition we get mentally beaten early.
It is with this in mind that I believe we will beat the Storm tonight by 30+ points with Cooper Cronk as first try scorer. Final score 42-10.
