DES Hasler has been dissolved from Manly's 2011 premiership win.

A fresh battlefront was drawn up last night after it was discovered the Manly Sea Eagles' merchandising store, across the road from Manly Leagues Club, is selling a range of beer mats, mousepads, coffee mugs and stubby holders celebrating last season's grand final win against the Warriors.

The only problem is, Hasler has been removed from all of the photos. He's a life member of Manly as well… Why would you do this to one of the club's favourite sons?

THEY wouldn't be flexible in contract negotiations;

THEY erase him from their merchandise like he's done them wrong?

They are such a backward club.

I will only be satisfied when they are no longer allowed to play in any type of footy comp that NRL has anything to do with.

The most despicable act from a club I've ever seen.

Des took them from a shambles with the Northern Eagles to a serious premiership force only outshined by a club who cheated. Not to mention he is a club legend and life member.

He does not deserve this.

Whilst I absolutely hate Manly with a passion! As the article says, it wasn't the club that left him out of the photo, it was the NRL. The process began when Des was still there and it has been the same in previous seasons with Wayne Bennett being left out when the Dragons won.

Still, it's funny how the media is beating Manly while they are down in the dumps :laughing:
