I am looking for copies of all Western suburbs games from 1987-1989 that Steve McCoy played in. He is my Dad and trying to get them for Father's day. Anyone know where I can get them?
Thanks

That's where I got some from. I have on dvd the first ever game that Wests Magpies played at Campbelltown (1987). We played against Sterlo and his Eels.

Hey Lisa, I saw your Dad play, he was a very elusive and quick player, pretty mistake -free, and safe hands who knew where the try-line was: tell him he still has fans, OK?

Ouch!!!! seen it coming but couldn't get out of the way

I remember Steve McCoy playing as well. He was good. Very elusive with a good turn of speed.

Unfortunately, the Maggies didn't do very well in those early years at Cambo. I too have the first ever game against Parramatta that we won on a hot sunny afternoon at Cambo. I don't think we were on the tele very mcuh back then either …. hence why no one has many tapes in their cupboard.

And from this era, the fanatical group known as the W.O.M. was formed..
