Could you please elaborate on what the breakdown was ,the JT strikes again seems a bit over the top and just more of put the boot in! A bit more information on what the issue was would be appreciated .

The breakdown I believe was being he was told he would be starting the year in Ron Massey Cup as he wasn't training well enough to make NSW Cup side over other players who have trained better. Seve didn't appreciate this.
I have to say I'm 100% behind JT if that is what happened as players especially kids need to know they aren't guaranteed anything plus looking at our squad and improved depth its not that big a surprise as he didn't exactly take the under 20s by storm

@supercoach said:I think you will find that over the next few months, anything at all that happens at Tiger town, from a young kid being home sick to the toilets at Campbelltown overflowing the media will do a story portraying JT as the problem. Rightly or wrongly Its a throw back from Farahgate and that is why Pascoe is trying to keep him away from the spotlight. Nothing but a flying start to the season will keep the vultures at bay and even that will only be to the first hiccup.
Back to the topic,I think some of these kids see how Moses and Brooks were fast tracked into the NRL and expect similar treatment and than get peed off when they start sliding down the stairs, rather than climb them. Its a very cut throat game, that requires a lot of luck of being in the right place at the right time

Not only luck and being in the right place at the right time super coach,as you and many of us know they must have the talent and ability to prove that the can be on the pathway to the NRL…not saying he didn't have, but he may very well have been a long way behind others during this pre season and JT may not have been happy with that..how many times have we said that Brooks and Moses were overhyped considering the step up to NRL from the NYC,some can handle it and some can't,we have yet to see how much our FG 6/7 will improve on last year, the Tigers have invested heavily in them and this year they must show a lot more of the brilliance and talent they are purported to have and show they can lead the team around the park as good playmakers should..
@coopy said:This one confuses me a little. Seve wasn't performing to the required level and we try and discipline him by starting them in the RM Cup (fair enough). Yet when he obviously complained we roll over and grant a release.
Surely it is management's choice to either keep or release? Centre is the one position we haven't bolstered in the offseason and he wasn one of our brightest prospects.
Without wanting to put the boot into JT, I am concerned that the relationship between player and coach had deteriorated to such a degree that release was seen as the best course of action. Undoubtedly some form of mediation or compromise would have been attempted and would have been the best outcome.
